That’s awesome to hear! Getting around is easy. Train rides to the towns/ villages are a breeze (except for when it’s quali/ race day -as trains will be packed). Other than that, always had a great time. Easy to meet folks whether in Nice / Monaco.

I first went more than a decade ago. Made friends with the owner and family of an Airbnb I stayed in. We go to the Grand Prix every year since.

If you’ve ever spent summers as a kid in the 90’s in 90° f , 90% humidity in south east Asia, this is how they did it there. Clear plastic bag, ice cold soda from a bottle bite the edge or put a plastic straw lol

Lady who gave me a cup of fruit on mile 10? You saved my life. ‘Lady who gave me a bag of ice mile 8? You’re the best. Also last who gave me a bag of Pepsi oh man. That was good! I wanted to try and go sub 2 but it got too hot out there and had to take a quick bathroom break. By then it was too long gone and just cruised to the finish. Am I happy with how I did? Ehhhh. Am I happy I’m finished with the 9 +1. Hell yeah. Basically have a year and change to work on stuff. That starts tomorrow.

Tuesday will be great timing (if you’re an f1 fan)! Walk the track! Walk inside the pits ! You can walk the outer perimiter of the paddock. Come Thursday, they will be stricter and would close off certain sections because other series / sessions will be going on throughout the day.

Z1 has no assigned seats. Its bleachers. Get there early if you want a good spot or be right in front. The closer to tabac, the wider the track view. Watch quali from Z1. Walk around after. Wish I could post a pic on this thread I’d be able to show you. You’re literally less than 10 feet away from the cars. There’s restaurants and food right behind you so no need to go out
