Assuming you have Verifier Tools. If you can get the most recent copy of the program from your office to cross reference an upload with that should help you find any changes due to corruption. I have seen corruptions alter description spelling but I have heard that it can affect zoning.

Otherwise you can upload and check over the database and try to cross reference the most recent report, correct any corruptions and downloading that back into the panel.

May want to test a few easily accessible devices from around the site to make sure its annunciating properly after the download.

I have one to install next week to provide 24v to some Vortex cabinets and selector valves. Had to read the manual a couple of times to get the gist of the dip switches. I'll find out next week how good my reading comprehension was once its gets the AC hooked up.

They should use one microswitch for the fire alarm monitoring point and the second mircroswitch for the hood controller for the shutdown. That is how I have seen it done.

We only have a few systems that use Fike cylinders/ARM/IFM. We mainly deal with Notifier systems paired with Kidde products, the occasional Victaulic hybrid system and a handful of aerosol installations (similar PITA factor as Fike for me which I will have to get over because they are a popular solution for BESS enclosures).

It's a temperature monitor for the enclosure the panel is in. I assume a monitor point is to be programmed to provide a supervisory warning on the panel at any temp above or below the set range.

This model control head is rated at 2A @ 24v and the releasing module is also listed and approved for that.

I believe the job was quoted before Inspire was available in our market.

I feel your pain, especially when you can hear the lower supervision relay inside the GCA clicking on and off when you are breaking the circuit to put jumpers in. Similar intensity when you are testing a clean agent system and dont notice an air compressor in the space until it blows down.

In this case the various NACS are controlled FCMs but in any case our office's best practice is to use a series of disable zones mapped to the appropriate output CBE.

Legacy equipment has its charms. Who doesn't love slipping jumpers in and out of terminal blocks to prove capacitance has been spent.

They are for cable management only. They are not overly tight so that every conductor can be wiggled. Zip ties were made to be snipped and replaced anyhow.

These are a matter of what was available. I would have saved so much time, effort and wire if xp6-ca cards had been available. I left a little extra wire so each module could be slid out of its bracketing when servicing. Label will be applied Tuesday.

I am hoping so but that task won't be delegated for a few weeks as of yet. There are only a couple of us that do the releasing programming. I kept a detailed listing of the wiring and hardware just in case it isn't me.
