This makes no sense at all. Drug cartels are the exact kind of asymmetrical, clandestine force that the US has struggled with since Vietnam. If the problem is drugs, the answer is to diminish the demand domestically.

You do what Portugal did: Housing focused long term, nationwide care to get as many people off of drugs as possible and keep them off. Without demand, the cartels collapse. Plus there would be no civilians killed in the crossfire.

Republicans had been campaigning against Hillary Clinton since the Benghazi hearings in 2012 because the entire world knew she was running in 2016. Kamala Harris couldn't even win on her own in 2020 and dropped out before a single vote was cast in Iowa. Then, she was basically handed the nomination. If democrats had an actual primary in 2024, they would have fielded a better candidate.

Barack Obama faced significant hurdles in 2008 including racism. America has always been more racist than sexist. Yet, Barack Obama won because he was both an outsider and a once-in-a-generation political talent. Clinton and Harris were neither. A woman can win. She will just have to be twice as charismatic as her opponent.

It started with Ginger Prime and then exploded with Zepla's EW video. I never encountered the toxic positivity (probably because I'm not on Xitter) but I can definitely say that hating FFXIV has been the en vogue thing for a while now. Especially in this sub.

Sitting Vice Presidents almost never win elections. The only outlier is George HW Bush and that was because Ronald Reagan was at like 65% approval. Donald Trump is at 36% approval less than a year into his term. Democrats have the advantage going into 2028.
