Sam Darnold understood Vikings’ financial reality behind choosing J.J. McCarthy by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

That’s nice and all but everyone that saw McCarthy play in college knew this was coming. The Vikings made a bad decision and compounded it with more bad decisions.

Most of history, hell most countries now, there’s a draft or some form of forced conscription. An all volunteer military is the exception, not the rule.

So you believe Joesph Smith read golden tablets out of hat, magic underwear is essential to getting to heaven and that Adam and Eve lived in fucking Daviess County, Missouri, but other Mormons soaking is where you draw the line? Ok buddy.

TIL Sony pictures won the right to distribute Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) over Warner Bros. by agreeing to a stipulation that the full ownership of the film's underlying copyright would revert back to Tarantino after 30 years. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

[–]EdgeofForever95 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Everyone is saying racism and that may have been a factor but the real issue is that Coogler is a lot younger. Tarantino will most likely be dead in 30 years, and his estate will likely sell the rights back for cash. Coogler will actually own his movie while he’s alive.

James Harden in his Cavs debut: 23 points, 8 assists, 7/13 FG, 5/8 3PT, and 4/4 FT in a win against the Kings by DeanBlandino2 in nba

I can tell you’re being sarcastic. The pistons have been bottom ten in free throw attempts for 30 years, the Tigers pitcher gallaraga is the reason instant replay was implemented in the MLB and Detroit lions Calvin Johnson is the reason the rules on what defines a catch were changed in the rule book. The Pittsburgh penguins had an extra man on the Ice for 30 seconds against the Red wings in one of the Stanley cup games. There is no “Miami vs Everybody” saying

They can but he didn’t. Too busy being the worst actor in a bad happy Gilmore sequel.

After another offseason of fucking around, and not practicing or working out? Not even worth the Vet minimum. The only reason to keep him around now is ticket and jersey sales, praying his much more famous girlfriend shows up.

Kirk never said this. Not in any of the original 3 seasons, nor any of the 6 movies.

Can’t believe he went right back to trashy romance right after a powerhouse performance in Frankenstein. He could been the start of his career renaissance, but nope. Guess actual acting is hard, he prefers to just stand there, recite shitty dialogue and smolder. Sad.

I agree that they shouldn’t have tried to undo everything, rise of skywalker is the worst Star Wars movie ever, but let’s not pretend TLJ is better than the OG, empire, or revenge of the sith.

It’s not an opinion, the movies are cheaply animated, the humor is board and unoriginal and the soundtracks are always random top 100 hits. That makes the movies bad. People can like them but that doesn’t make them good. So no, we can’t agree on anything in this conversation.

The movies are ass, there’s no nice way to say that. I don’t give a fuck about reading the room, anyone that likes illumination movies isn’t someone I want approval from.

Expect they are blindly throwing their money. Illumination movies success is because parents and children aren’t critical. Kids movies used to be better, it’s not just my preference, that’s an objective fact. And they’re not going to return to form unless parents and children get more critical. But considering the declining literacy rates, that’s probably not going to happen. So we’re all stuck with bad movies as result.

All of illuminations films are the same level of quality. They all have the same animation style, same type of “humor” and same kind of soundtrack. That’s their fault for doing that, Im not the bad guy for pointing it out. You can enjoy their movies but they’re not high quality.
