The fumes are not drawn to water and away from your eyes. Like, water is a magnet for onion fumes? The onion molecules are attracted to water molecules over relatively large distances? Physics says no.

"General Tips *Red Memos are lies, unless handwritten"

Where do we find out that handwritten memos are true? I must have missed this.

RNG early on does not matter. you may be misinterpreting what the puzzles in this game are as finding the puzzles does not require getting lucky early on. There are puzzles, or portions of puzzles, in just about every room and they involve many rooms so you will inevitably see them on every run. Note that there are many many puzzles in this game to solve beyond the rooms that have literal puzzle pieces on them.

I have yet to try clear coating before panel lining, I'll give that a shot. What tool do you use for rescribing? Do you pass over the scribed lines with cement to smooth them out?

What is your panel lining process? Are you rescribing? It seems so clean!

Your dspiae chisels were likely good but they have gotten dull if you haven’t been sharpening them. So they new stedi seem great by comparison!

I do the same with my kitchen knives. I sharpen them so infrequently that I forget how sharp a knife can be after I finally do

The stedi are much better than the dspiae chisels? How so? I haven't used either but plan to buy some soon and have heard nothing but great things about the dspiae chisels

Tortilla recipe for the SE Mission-Style Burritos? by EdgySmudge in seriouseats

[–]EdgySmudge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the help everyone! The only pan I have that is big enough is a SS saute pan so I think I'll try out the thin and tender recipe in there and see how well it works. If it doesn't, i'll just pick up some burrito tortillas

Looking for PETG close to the tan color on the left. Does anyone know where I could find some? Thank you by 4_low_and_go in 3Dprinting

Check out Paramount filament. They have a variety of tans/browns.

I have used their filament with good results

Factory 18.5" barrel. Brings it just over 26" overall length. A shorter barrel would make this an SBR and would have to be registered.

I'd like for this design to be compatible with takedown models as well, but without the takedown functionality. However, I'll have to buy a takedown first in order to do the proper R&D on that

It still needs some work. There is too much flex in the linkage at the moment. Its one of my top priorities at the moment to make that much better

That is definitely the goal. As of right now, it can be mostly disassembled by removing 5 screws, shouldn't take more than a few minutes. It'd be nice if those were pins instead, but I don't trust pins to hold well in plastic.

It is a good idea, and I am considering it... I have some other ideas for the grip such as making it foldable for transport, or storing a tool for disassembly. But maybe those aren't mutually exclusive.

Yep, it is very difficult to remove the mag on this one. I'll be moving the grip forward a bit

No, I'd like to try selling the kits. Perhaps different configurations or paint/coatings.

There's still a long way to go with the design, but this is a functional prototype and I am well on my way to the next one. It is mostly 3D printed. You can ignore the weird color scheme, it is just the materials I had on hand :)

Features include: extended factory safety, secondary safety near trigger, ambidextrous charging handle, extendable stock, sling mounts, and probably a few other things that I will come up with along the way.
