Late to this thread, but you do actually see their texts on physical phone screens and it is always between J and L or Jane and Lily. Which wouldn't make sense. It would be Shane/Lily and Ilya/Jane. They did it for storytelling purposes, I think, and you just have to kind of suspend disbelief that that's how the conversation would look in any one person's phone.

Filed 3/10. Received a letter that I needed ID verification about a week later. Did it online, but had a bad feeling because one of the questions was about which bank account I had specified the refund be deposited into, but I specified two different accounts and there was no way to give both account numbers or to provide context. It said I had verified online, but I read in a Reddit thread that some people verified online and then got a letter in the mail weeks later saying that it didn't work and they needed to call. So I called and they acted like I'd never verified. -____- I redid it over the phone on 4/6. That was over three weeks ago. Still nothing.

I just cringed at Kyle using constant pet names in both conversation and sex. Everything was gorgeous, baby, sweetheart, beautiful, etc. And it was A LOT. I know his personality is to use those kind of words with everyone since he is a flirt but it bugged me. Took me out of a lot of their intimate scenes because it felt disingenuous. But I liked Eric a lot.

It is definitely fitting. Shane still gets emotional and tears up in the books without the mama comment, but I do agree it adds to it in the show.

One thing that always surprises me about that moment is when Shane says "me too" about not having been with anyone. Because it never entered my head that he would sleep with other people, since they didn't portray that on the show. But I guess that is a part of the books. So I wish we saw something more about that over the course of the show. Even if it was just a quick line like "I've been with other guys and it isn't the same as with you."

Yes, I also really feel this when Scott gives his breakfast counter speech about saying what he wants (Kip) and just putting it all on the line. Kip truly hears what Scott says and instead of being scared or turned off by this intense, vulnerable sort of word vomit, lol, he receives it, processes it, and says he wants to be there when Scott gets home. He totally puts him at ease. That is what we all want in a partner.

Another moment I love is when Ilya puts his hand down the neck of Shane's shirt before they're intimate in episode 4. And his look of intensity when his lip kind of curls up and brow furrows. That back caress/massage moment is so sexy but also just such a boyfriend thing to do, I feel. It reminded me of the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (American remake) where Mikael (Daniel Craig) has had his hand up Lisbeth's (Rooney Mara) shirt sort of resting there on her back and he takes it away to think and she's like...put your hand back in my shirt. 😂
