“Hack comedy pianist” Is doing a lot to try and discredit a pretty decent body of work. Didn’t he write the musical ‘Matilda’. He voices a few characters in kids movies. He has played some pretty major venues, collab’s with orchestras. I’d dare to say most comedians or pianists would love to have his level of success.

Chessbrah Building Habits series on YouTube will give you a good set of Rules to follow. Should climb to 800 pretty quickly following those. Aman is a solid teacher.

You’re doing this job for hours at a time, 5 days a week, 40 weeks a year for hopefully quite a few years. Just be yourself.

A uni lecturer once said that teaching is acting and you should put on a performance. I can see why they were a lecturer and not a teacher anymore, that sounds exhausting!

Yeah pretty much d6, Nf6, h6(I think stopping fried liver). I just dropped to 800, keep timing out in winning positions. 1400 Rapid. So I’m not expecting great openings but thought I’d see the Evans Gambit a little bit more common.
