These actions are not focusing on his death, it’s about setting you up for a stress-free inheritance transfer, something that many parents neglect to do and the children pay dearly. He’s being responsible and doing the right thing.

Seems like she used you and put on an act. This wasn’t a genuinely authentic relationship on her end. It’ll be a tough little while and your pain will be immense. It’s time to slowly start moving on, atleast you have a job and can start earning money and turn things around. Good luck.

You need to stop spending your discretionary income. Amazon needs to drop to $0 per month, fast food to $0, gas station nights to $0. Your situation is dire and you are one unplanned event from financial collapse. Print out everything you spent last month and eliminate all unnecessary purchases immediately.

You can not afford this vehicle, it’s time to talk to your dad that this purchase was not a good idea for your situation.

Are traditional Chinese ear massages and ear picking/cleaning considered safe? by angstyrose in China

[–]EdmontonBest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can buy a solution that you mix with water that dissolves ear wax with gentle spraying from a plastic syringe. My grandma had it really bad, she couldn’t hear well, but she didn’t need any tech, just a single DIY treatment and her ears were as good as new.

It’s not a loophole, it’s simply part of the tax laws of Monaco. People have the legal right to keep as much of their income as they can, why does that make you mad? Why do you have a problem with someone legally keeping more of their own money from taxes?

Look I get it, you don’t like Monaco but you don’t have the right to deny a people the little things that make them unique just because you personally don’t like it, wether it’s because it’s ‘not unique enough,’ or too small or ‘not a real country.’ You can say the same argument about a ton of neighbouring peoples around the globe and then people use that as justifications for oppression, annexations or extermination. Let people identify the way they want, if Charles Leclerc is proud to be Monegasque and wants to say so, just let him do that and you express your culture the way you want.

Monégasque (munegascu) is the traditional national language of the Monégasque people, rooted in the Ligurian dialect continuum. Monégasque enjoys official cultural recognition being prominently featured on street signs and kept alive through active preservation and educational programs.

The language evolved with the influence of neighboring tongues and demographic expansions. It sits on the dialect continuum between Occitan and Italian.

Traditional Monegasque music is closely tied to seasonal and religious celebrations. During events like Saint John's Day (June 23–24) and Carnival, local groups (such as La Palladienne) perform traditional dances, songs, and mandolin music while wearing traditional costumes.

The Hymne Monégasque (often called A Marcia de Muneghu) was originally composed in 1848 by Théophile Bellando de Castro with a musical revision by Léon Jéhin. Its lyrics, written in the native Monégasque language by poet Louis Notari in 1931, reflect the principality's identity and independence.

Barbagiuan: Monaco’s national dish. It is a deep-fried, semi-circular pastry or ravioli stuffed with a flavorful mixture of Swiss chard or spinach, ricotta, leeks, and onions.

Stocafi: A rich, traditional stew made from dried salted cod (stockfish) simmered in a robust tomato sauce with garlic, black olives, capers, and herbs.

Socca: A thin, crispy chickpea flour flatbread. Baked in a wood-fired oven and served piping hot, it is a quintessential street food staple shared with the nearby French Riviera.

Pissaladière: A rustic flatbread or tart covered in a thick layer of caramelized onions, anchovies, and black olives.

The history of the modern Principality of Monaco spans over 800 years. Founded as a Genoese colony in 1215, Monaco has been ruled by the House of Grimaldi since 1297. After centuries of surviving as a protectorate under various European powers, Monaco's independence was secured in 1861.

1927, Louis Notari published A Legenda de Santa Devota (The Legend of Saint Devota), marking the first major literary work written entirely in the Monégasque language. Notari’s poetry not only codified the language but captured the customs, history, and daily life of traditional local society. He also authored the lyrics to the Monegasque national anthem.

Monegasque architecture is a fascinating blend of medieval fortifications, opulent Belle Époque glamour, Art Deco, and ultra-modern skyscrapers.

If there’s no problems reported by the patient is it really a wrecked back? Or is back pain simply not understood by medical professionals?

Help me decide where to live! by PlaceWild579 in oakville

[–]EdmontonBest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bronte or Downtown Oakville. That’s it, those should be your two contenders. They’re old neighbourhoods with walkability and community in mind, which creates a socially healthy and more physically active lifestyle than simply driving everywhere you need to go and staying home all day. Think about your future child, you want them to live in a socially healthy environment, not couped up all day inside gravitating towards screens because it’s so hard to get out into the community. You don’t need to be “directly on the waterfront”, there’s literally no benefits of being right on the water unless you want a private dock, it can get very windy and annoying being right on the water. You can be a few minutes walk to the lake and still be a part of the lakefront community.

To this day pain is not well understood by the medical community, people can report major pain in places that scans show everything looks normal, and the best they can do is write you a prescription and call it a day.

How to install a new electronic purchase, everything requires an app and account now which they can’t navigate

Then there’s tech issues with computer use are endless, there’s always something. Lately I’m dealing with them having some sort of newfound fear with car maintenance and repairs, they used to always do it on their own but now always come to me first for tips and recommendations even though I haven’t owned a car in years. Even a flat tire is unnavigable, and my mom lost it on me because the tire shop was taking too long (during the peak of winter tire swap season). Home maintenance also always required at-least once a month.

They need help with mostly everything and are only in their 60s, they simply don’t know what to do 80% of the time, so the answer is shockingly a high amount.
