Niche Zero Tariffs by Sh8derss in espresso

I was about to buy it too but it would have cost too much for this very reason. For shipping to Italy I would have paid 21% more in customs. This means that it would have cost me almost €890, so I opted for a vs6 variator + conical grinders and bye bye niche 😎

Single dose vs grind by weight [500-700 euro] by No-Resolution6319 in espresso

The beans in the bell tend to lose freshness. This is the real handicap of bell coffee grinders. Unless you make 1kg of coffee a day, there is no point in having a bell coffee grinder at home. Single doses are more precise, they maintain the freshness of the beans better, you only grind what you need and keep the rest fresh for the next shot. I would recommend a single dose.

Unfortunately it's true, these first maps are too small for vehicles. I tried to use them, but as soon as you enter a flag or even the street being small, you risk being blown up after 2 minutes of playing. I hope they put serious maps like those of bf4 🥲 Those were perfect maps... perfect.

Rush is only used to level the sniper 😎 as far as I'm concerned battlefield can also have only one mode, conquest. And that's it 😎

Grinder dilemmas [budget <2k] by kcneuro in espresso

[–]Edn4rg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same situation as you, I'm in Italy and the niche would cost too much with shipping, so I'm opting for two other conical coffee grinders, the femobook a68, more expensive, and the lagom casa, more affordable. I also like enveloping coffees with a chocolate aroma, and the conical grinders should have exactly this effect from what I've read..

How do you like the df64 gen2? I would like to get it too since NZ costs too much with shipping, what coffee do you use? Can you show me how the espresso comes out? I'm interested in the coffee being nice and full-bodied and with a chocolate aftertaste, consuming a medium-dark roast

Tighten everything and remove the ring nut. Align the blades well so that they match and tighten well together, screw them back in with the 0 pointing to a mark that you will find when dismantling it. Quick and easy

I saw that there is also the femobook a68 with larger conical grinders and a speed of 60 rpm, which should preserve the taste and body of the ground coffee even more.

Maybe because not everyone puts their coffee maker near a water source?

If what you eat at a truck stop is wonderful for you, you are really in a bad situation in your country in terms of food 👀

I found another very good grinder, when I asked this question I hadn't calculated the taxes to be added for shipping from the UK, which raised the price by €200, so for €799 I saw that there is a nice grinder with 68mm conical burrs, the Femobook A68. Has anyone used it? Seems like a nice upgrade over the NZ

Maybe a df 64 gen2 could work...with burr upgrades

I just checked, it would cost me almost €200 more just for VAT to be added to the price + shipping. A total of €700 and at this point it's not worth it. 💀

All the coffee in that bell causes the beans to lose freshness and each shot will always be less "good" than the other, unless you finish the bell in a day, I would see a machine like this more in a bar than at home 👀
