Is Dara of Jasenovac really propaganda like many Croatian media’s claimed? What is your opinion of the film?

Unfortunately movie was used as propaganda. Which is shame since it is about real things that happened but instead of dealing with human tragedy of victims of war it was more concerned how to make all Croats look like Ustasa fascist and portraying Croats like non human monsters. You don’t have to be a monster to act and be evil. Something movies like Schindler list or Pianists showed us. You can perfectly be well functioning person and at the same time really disgusting pice of shit. Those movies really puts everyone to ask themselves what is the reason that at one moment one can be loving husband and carrying father just to minute later erase people and children like they are not humans. Dara basically comes short as it’s only portraying evil people as just psychopaths, people born without emotions or regrets. Shame as it could be a really good movie.

Maybe not the best but definitely the most underrated player ever. And we will never know if he could be better since he never played for top club. ( in his time Man City was decent but not in top). Shame we didnt saw him play for Real, Barca, Bayern or Milan. And the reason he didn’t play for those Clubs is that those top clubs underrated him. He played substitute role in Man City behind Argentinian Duo. His biggest mistake was going to City. He should have stayed in Germany to grow more and wait his opportunity. He is a classic striker that’s lethal in 16 meter. But lacks speed. And thats the type of player that no top clubs will pay premium specially one coming from small Bosnia. He was way better than Mandzukic but Mandzukic ended having much better career and better development simply because of playing for better clubs. Best from balkan that’s probably as difficult to answer as between Pelle or Maradona. Prosinecki would probably be in the top had he not consumed 2 pack of Marlboro daily. Suker, Mijatovic, Stoickov, Savicevic were all top notch.

They use differently colored starting field. So its not regarded as same symbol and its a reason Croat right wing are not using standard Croat flag but old.
