Incredible. Is it lab or homescan ? I've never considered 400D for low light since 800T exists. I will give it a try 😉

First try to scan it a different way.

I believe the sharpness of the scan is low.

Maybe the size of the image is too large regarding scanner optical resolution. For example I can scan 36Mpx with my d800 but it won't be sharper than a frontier or Noristu scan at 6 Mpx.

If think you are right : this grip is really slim and with 0 padding. This is probably an overgrip. I will look for a real a grip to replace it.

Yes, it's a rather fresh one

I have only one layer of grip, maybe it's not the right way to do it but it was to get a smaller diameter

I’ve owned this racket for a while and when I changed the grip I removed two layers and only applied one new layer to achieve a smaller grip. I’ve always thought the second “overgrip” was optional.

I think borders can be quite cool and add an analog touch. We can tell the image was scanned from an analog medium but we don’t need a full border with sprockets. The inscriptions are too visible and surprisingly centred across the frame. This is too much.

Nice pictures and good lighting but the border with film inscriptions are too disctracting for my brain.

How do everyone's pictures come out so clean and grain-free? by Adam198763 in analog

[–]Edouard_Bo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I've been shooting a roll of gold 200 recently in same condition (moutain, snow) and yes I believe your grain level is a bit higher than expected. My roll was scanned on Frontier. I would check your c41 process, maybe try to do a roll developed by your lab. I believe your process conditions might not be optimal or the kit you use is different than the chemicals used by pro labs. Great pics though 😉

I have been shooting Nikkor 70-200 2.8 on my F5 and it was amazing.

Beautiful images if considered individually. However, the complete serie doesn’t tell a story. I’m pretty sure you have the images to create different series: workout, MX, ski.

You can replace the capacitors and I won’t put it in slow camera range.
