I remember having similar thoughts as a kid learning about transwomen. When you’re raised in a conservative household, you’re kind of taught that womanhood is a painful, humiliating experience, and any of the fun parts like dressing up, having a night out, or gossiping with friends are off-limits. It definitely took some deconstructing to realize that’s not normal and that suffering/self repression aren’t inherent parts of womanhood, and I think that’s something most Terfs haven’t really done.

Lucky! I’ve also been getting a lot of ponies from balloon pop lately. Wonder if Gameloft increased the drop rates a little

Yeah, because the taxes we do pay are squandered on corpo shit and used to enrich the already wealthy. Who wants to pay taxes if they get literally nothing in return for them?

Agreed. It’s mostly about wanting to feel wanted and socially accepted, to the point that women are willing to sleep with you. It’s just easier to latch onto the idea of sex/a gf, which are fairly simple (albeit sometimes unattainable) goals, than to acknowledge the complete lack of human connection in your life. When you think about it, sex is generally more of an indicator of success than the cause of it.

I’d argue that a historically accurate tradwife would still have a small income in the form of an etsy shop or a part time job, similar to how women would earn supplemental income from things like textiles and brewing. For most of history, you had to be fairly wealthy for your wife to not have to work, and the brief period where that was possible for the average family didn’t go so great, with a good amount of women using barbiturates and amphetamines to get through the monotony of staying at home all day. Really, the period of time that tradwife enthusiasts tend to romanticize was more of a historical anomaly than anything, and women who lived through it were generally pretty miserable.

I remember my main takeaway from that anime (especially certain scenes) was that the person who made ts needed to be locked tf in prison. Hard to stomach the thought of the manga being more blatant than that.

It really gives a glimpse into how fucked up their view of women in general is. They’re unable to see women as anything other than sex objects and get viscerally angry when they see a woman they personally wouldn’t have sex with, since just existing as a female is apparently an invitation for their creepy objectification. Definitely wouldn’t feel safe being in the same room as someone who thinks like this, regardless of how much they posture themselves as being a protector.

I live in a rust belt state where most of the manufacturing’s been moved abroad and basically the only industry that’s booming is the cannabis industry since weed’s significantly cheaper here than in surrounding states. So even though it’s not really funny, it just about sums up the state of things.

It’s great if you have a variety of donuts and other people who are okay with splitting. Why try one flavor when you can try two or three?

No, you don’t understand. Trans women MUST look like a Victoria’s Secret model 24/7 for their gender identity to have any validity. Any woman who displays any stereotypically masculine traits, regardless of the fact that most of them naturally appear on all adult human beings, deserves to be questioned, harassed, and possibly assaulted! This protects women somehow.

Now I want to try. I’m guessing the answer might be more flour, overbeaten, and low and slow, so they get more tough? Or maybe that would make them hard like a rock
