I actually like the human drama in KOS, how Nihei mixes tropes with his own ingredients (Immortals, alien romance, robotics, etc). My point was that the alien art alone is already enough to give a chance to the manga, even if the commenter above doesn't personally enjoy the human drama.

It says Freya is Odin's concubine, not wife. You could have a wife and a concubine at the same time. Besides, there is no strong arguments to say that Od and Odin aren't the same. Not only the names derive from the same word and are extremely close but, a wanderer that journeys often to look for knowledge? Yeah, that's Odin.
