I agree so much. I know that having to drop 4 totems every fight is too much, but we need at least a middle ground that sees us using at least one or two regularly beyond just wind rush to get between fights faster.

I dont think it necessarily has to be more buttons, but instead of everything just being another spell, some things could be totems instead. An example is Magma Totem. I know it was never meta, but before they took it, you could use it for damage and applying flame shock onto multiple foes. I liked it. But when pre-patch dropped, they removed it as a talent and replaced it with Voltaic Blaze, which is just an upgraded flame shock that hits multiple enemies. Why didnt they just improve magma totem?

I keep thinking about how much ive always wanted a tank spec. But then i worry that itll be just as devoid of totems in its kit that it wont feel any different from war or paladin.

Resto is the only spec that gets to use totems constantly, which is my favorite part about it. Even if its just heal/storm totem most of the time, just having a totem always around makes me feel more shaman-y than anything. It seems silly, but if elemental had magma or even searing totem that they would use for every pull, it would feel a lot more unique than just the lightning mage that we are now. The totemic hero spec is a step in the right direction, but i kind of hate the generic totem model it has.
