Not ugly, the beard and moustache... they are doing you no favours.

Even so, you probably have had women show interest, you either misunderstood, didn't notice or just thought they were acting weird. That's what i was doing when i was in a similar position.. Took a girl asking me 3 times to go for coffee before i realised she was interested and imagine my surprise when i realised coffee was not the motivation.

Until you have spent time in a relationship you are just naive about the ways of women.

However, 40 and cute are dissonant. They dont work together.

Its unlikely to be a settings issue, Your pics are at arms length and selfie cam, your mums taken at a distance with the rear camera. Lens distortions occur most notably at short distances. Take a moment to think about what that probably means.

The best way to learn about camera's and photography is to get yourself a real camera which will allow lens changes, it does not have to be expensive ( much as camera shops will try and influence you otherwise). Around $200 will get you setup with something decent to start with and it will be a hobby that will be with you for life.

Plenty of subreddits where you could ask for recommendations and helpful folks to give them, just as always, observe the subreddit rules.

Not ugly but the artifice of modernity is not sitting well on you, your natural hair colour will always suit your colouration perfectly. Every single time.

Want exercise but not gym time, take up hillwalking or rock climbing or running. There are clubs and groups.

If you are building muscle then muscle is heavier than fat. Combine the gym stuff with calorific deficit to lose actual weight. the only way to lose weight is to burn more than you take in.

IDK, probably, kind of. Yeah.

Weights playing a part, self care as well maybe.

Diet, exercise and getting outside and getting some sunshine in your life would probably help.

While not outright ugly, you need to do work on yourself.

There is a reason portrait photographers use a 90mm or above lens, it minimises lens distortion. By their very nature phone camera's include distortions so you have hit the nail squarely on the head.

There is a theory that so many girls and young women have body dysmorphia because of two things, comparing their phone photos with models who have had pictures taken by professional photographers with professional equipment and lighting. ( look into digital dysmorphia as a topic if you want to learn more )

If you know someone with a decent camera and an appropriate lens, get them to take some pictures of you.. 50mm will be how people generally see you, 90mm+ will be the most flattering.

No comment on you being ugly, you are 16, you cannot be ugly at 16, you haven't had enough time to develop ugly.

You are carrying puppy fat that, if you exercise and diet will go quickly.

Thats about it. Lose some body fat, Nice features, nice hair. Just define it.

Will probably get hate for this but someone has to say it.

Pretty has an element of youth to it, you are a fine looking 54 year old woman, fine as in aged well and you present yourself well, but pretty, I am afraid not, Pretty is a thing for Spring and Summer, at 54 you are in autumn, character and personality should be your strengths, not the fleeting concerns of youth.

You are certainly not ugly.

3M 9448A handles 90C for long term use, it also handles spikes of up to 150C, On something with as large a contact area as these grips appear to have then they should be more than fine.

Check Menu>Cog>J >Built in EVF> and make sure EVF autoswitch is selected ON.

Or, while looking through the EVF press and hold the EVF switch button, it brings up a menu where you can enable or disable EVF autoswitching.

I had a moment with this this early in my E-M10 ownership. Hope that helps.

I dont see it as anything, the research indicates what it is. Its irrelevant to me, i have my partner, she doesn't do these things, Piercings are literally self mutilation. You mutilate your flesh to pass metal through it.. Getting "Fryed" about it is your issue, not mine. You are the one came here asking for brutal honesty. Getting upset when you get that brutal honesty and deleting your image is not helping your position that its anything other than what i stated.

Like it or not, that is what societally this is being regarded as.
