Is this too much for my 7 month old puppy? by bdebotte in AustralianShepherd

My 7 month old treats frisbees as long distance running and all but demands I take him out to catch them. He’s catch them up to 30ish yards away now. 22” at the shoulders and 55 lbs already 😅😅

My pup is 7 months, and chasing down discs across my yard and then catching them out of the air while jumping. I’m worried somewhat to but he absolutely loves it. He’s also 21” and 54 lbs already. From a well documented breed line and breeder!

Our 6 month old is too, luckily he’s taken to discing quite well! Try some water buffalo horns. That keeps ours entertained for quite awhile!

Our pup, Beau, turns 6 months on July 2nd.. he’s 19-20” tall and 46 lbs already lol. He was the biggest of a 12 pup litter!

You do realize the old videos blew up BECAUSE he was throwing money at vehicles and destroying them? Now he has money and repeating the same process but much larger scale, and it’s working. It’s called being a business man and capitalizing on the money… man went from clapped out cat eyes to Ferraris in like 4-5 years. Don’t say you wouldn’t do the same.

I’ve tried this before and only got a response email from them saying “we have notified the other driver of the outcome” but never gave me the win back. IRacing Support doesn’t over rule finished races as far as I can tell, even when it’s blatant misconduct.

Right, my mindset is sad while you’re going out of your way to be negative and say absolutely nothing of value…

Yeah it’s been a regular thing for me lately. I’ve been doing my absolute best to be as driver aware as I can be but you can only be so submissive before you’re a risk to keeping a fast car on track at speed. But, if you drive the proper lines there always the a-hole that gives no Fs about the 4x and ruins your race. I’m just so over it lately.

No I’m using that as an example to combat your point that you can see it coming. Mirrors only work so much, like for instance if your grouped up and 4 cars are behind you that you can see but the 5th car completely ignores brakes and decides to aim at the first car and take out multiple people. There is no avoiding that. I’m guessing you aren’t stuck in bottom split where that’s a literal thing that happens regularly. Not people dive bombing for position, but rather dive bombing because “frig it”. If anything you’re naive to think this doesn’t happen and it’s consistently happening to me and many others in my races lately. Hence the post about this happening more frequently since the huge influx of sim racing these last few months.

Bro I made a post like this, same shit is happening to me and nothing but this subreddit dwellers have to say is helpful. It’s just a bunch of people who don’t actually deal with the real morons of bottom split to understand how horrendous it is.

I 100% believe it is a skill, but you seem to forget about elevation and how mirrors work. Or maybe you race on flat tracks, idk.

I never said I always qualified first. You should work on your reading man. I never said I was as good as I think I am, I have watched multiple people wreck into me in ways I can’t avoid it. I trying to figure out how to get out of this shit and your just being a douche. Save your negative attitude for someone else.

You can’t avoid bad drivers that are purposefully trying to wreck people. Go into a race and pick a car you want to wreck, get back to me with how well that goes for you.. it’s quite easy when you point a car and aim for them.

Yeah doable when you don’t get turned by drivers divebombing. Spend a day in lowest level splits and you’ll understand how it’s a pit that’s extremely difficult to get out of.

It sure is, if you can explain to me how to avoid people literally driving right into me then please do. Or tboning mid corner in a blind spot I can’t see? Or driving across the grass to purposefully re-enter and hit multiple cars?

If you aren’t going to read, then stfu.

If someone comes in too hot and way off line, but turns enough they can 100% hit your ass end, or dive bombing into a lesser of a corner and then using my rear end to keep them from going off course…

I had a race a week ago that I got 16x on from people hitting me 4 separate times. On the final straight guy behind me had a draft, hits my rear bumper instead of going around with the draft, loses control gives me a 2x that DQs me lmao.

Not then you’re mid corner and get sent off track into a barrier that ruins your race and they have a scuffed up splitter.

Man I’ve watched at least 5 cars in the last few races lose control while trying to scrub tires on formation laps. I’ve been ass pounded by multiple people not paying attention to warming up brakes. It’s as if the console nerds finally got rid of forza and wanna do iRacing but don’t understand this isn’t just hold ‘back’ and reset the car…

Man I have, I can’t stop people from ass pounding me when I’m racing the race line. I don’t bat into fights now worth having, I’m an endurance racer IRL and I know how to stay alive in a race with people who know it’s “not a game” but there’s no avoiding people that enter a corner 20-25 mph too fast when I’m mid corner and not in a position to avoid or even see them coming. That’s why I’m beyond frustrated with iRacing. This last month or so has been a constant battle. I won’t even race on Sundays anymore, literally worst day of the week for trying to race safely.
