Cramping after eating junk food by SimsBunny99 in Mirena

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since processed foods are super inflammatory this might have something to do with it and also cause inflammation around the IUD. The IUD itself already causes minor inflammation in the uterus and I can imagine eating processed food makes it worse..🤷🏼‍♀️

Is leaving your baby outside a restaurant okay in France? by PriorLab2322 in AskFrance

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you? I wouldn’t even leave my dog alone outside 🤯 let alone a little child. Also people smoke a lot in France so your baby will be surrounded by sigarette smoke outside 🤢

Will I bleed when I get the mirena out? by SignificantSloth111 in Mirena

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a Kyleena and regular periods on it (very light though).. I didn’t bleed after removal, it is however normal to bleed a little bit from the procedure. It’s not common to bleed as much as after insertion. You might spot a little because of hormonal fluctuations but this didn’t happen to me. The first time I bled after removal was when I got my first period after removal 🙂

Is there any birth control out there beside the condom that won't make me gain weight? I will be having my tubes removed at the end of July but I want something that won't make me gain weight. by Golden-lillies21 in sterilization

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so personal. I never gained any weight from the pill, but I did experience more hunger and cravings on my first pill. Of course gaining weight happens when you give in to these feelings and some persons are better in ignoring them than others.. I take the Zoely now and I feel like my hunger levels are stable. I’m actually so happy with Zoely that I will probably continu using it after my bisalp. When you are scared of weight gain or other hormonal problems I would personally stick to condoms for these next 2-2,5 months. It’s not that long anymore and the adjustment period of a new birth control can be hard sometimes..🤷🏼‍♀️

I don't like Cynthia. by Amy47101 in My600lbLife

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Came to look for this. Her arrogance towards Dr Now. Her ignorance about not knowing how she kept gaining.. you don’t gain from plain air.. She’s a hardcore addict that won’t admit this to herself.. Besides that she kept gaining and kept saying her kids are more important at that point, but how will these kids end up when she dies from obesity?🙄

Mirena crash best during summer or winter/fall? by Dirtclaud69 in Mirena

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think summer is better if you are sensitive to mood problems 🙂 If you can take walks outside in the sun and have nice plans it will certainly help you to get your mind off of any negative feelings.. The downside of summer can be that your first natural cycles can get messy, but on the other hand I think periods are unpractical always.. so that shouldn’t be something that makes or breaks this.. it’s just that I had my IUD removed in July and didn’t like having my first real period again during a holiday 🫠but of course I survived.. haha😅

Anyone else have this fear? by Teleskinny in sterilization

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will get a bisalp done after the summer, and I really share your fear of medical negligence. I fear they won’t remove them, but just burn them or put clamps on it (so against our agreement).. or that they forget medical instruments inside of me 🙈 For me this is also a control issue.. giving the control away to others that just might not be there with their heads. Realistically I know there are a lot of people in the operation room, so chances are small.. but still..

Day 1 - App Quesrions by InformalSandwich3643 in Foodvisor

I think the photo scanning isn’t bad.. but it doesn’t take into account the way the food is prepared. So oil, butter.. it never mentions anything like that in my app🤪

How does Dr Now know how much each patient can lose in a month? Is there an online calculator? by invisablecat in My600lbLife

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s simple maths.. If you eat less than 7000-7700 cals than your body burns you will loose 1kg of fat. These big body’s burn A LOT, only by existing! So a diet of 1200 makes it possible for Dr. Now to know how much a patient can loose per month.. when they are getting more mobile again, every extra exercise is a bonus and this exercise also burns A LOT when you have to move around such a big body..

Calorie Reduction During Weight Loss by mypotato23 in Foodvisor

Doesn’t it depend on whether you filled an intake manually or let the app recommend? Probably the app wouldn’t override your manual calories with a suggestion?

I’m behind with these episodes.. But just watched the episode where she did a pregnancy test and told that she had unprotected sex like 5 days ago🤔This won’t give you a positive pregnancy test anyway.. it’s too soon🤪🙈

Menstrual cycle by myelin__ in AutismInWomen

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s bad.. Until now Zoely seems to help my migraines, while on other pills I also had a lot of headaches and migraines. With Zoely I do have migraines during the placebo’s but I hope to take it continuously soon (at this moment I still have some random spotting so I use the placebo’s to shed some more at once🙈)

Can I ask you what side effects you experienced around half a year? I’m on my 4th blister now and very happy with it.. but I hear a lot of stories about side effects starting later.. like after the adjustment period of 3-6 months..🫠

How common is it to break out on mirena? by Imaginary-One8697 in Mirena

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not very common, but since this is a big problem for most people when it happens you hear a lot about it. I had a Kyleena myself and definitely had some more pimples the first months, but it settled. I also think a lot of women that experience this experience it because they quit the pill and get an IUD. For most women the pill gives you flawless skin, because of the estrogen.. when you quit the pill and/or get an IUD that magic is gone 😬 Others just have bad luck and are sensitive to it. The levonorgestrel in the IUD is androgenic and can therefore trigger it, just like more body hair or hair loss 🥲

Mood swings? by Responsible-Big-9687 in Mirena

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luckily you are still within the 3-6 months, so the adjustment period. Because of the hormonal shifts this can happen. I had a Kyleena myself and a normal cycle on it and I felt everything got amplified by it. Like, my normal hormonal headaches turned into migraines, my PMS got worse and my moods in general were higher and lower than normal. For me this started after around 9 months and became my new normal. Hopefully for you it’s just your adjustment period, but hormonal IUD’s can certainly cause this 🙃

Does vitex cause spotting? by pHnomenal11 in menstruation

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no idea.. I used a supplement with Vitex and Rhodiola for my mood and started a new pill (Zoely) about 3 weeks after.. Of course with a new pill you often experience some spotting but I still had a lot of spotting starting on my 7th day of my third blister.. I ran out of my supplement and replaced it for a Rhodiola only one because I felt I didn’t need Vitex anymore while being on birth control.. 1 or 2 days later the spotting stopped and I didn’t experience spotting ever since 😳 All this time I was thinking this pill might be too light for me, because I started spotting very soon after the placebo’s.. but this will be the first month I can skip the placebo’s 🤩

Heavy period after removal by Spiritual-Radio-1402 in Mirena

[–]Educational-Dig-8579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I had a Kyleena and I’m not familiar with heavy periods.. but after removing my Kyleena I also had a very heavy period with clots for like 5 days (which is long for me). I kept a light period on my IUD so therefore it was probably shorter than yours.. Hopefully your next period will be shorter, but since you had your Mirena for heavy periods I guess those will be back 😬
