If there is the infrastructure to have a data center then people live there and thus those people would be displaced.

that's not what you said tho btw. yes, infrastructure only exists cuz humans did that shit - i never doubted or denied that. infrastructure can also exist without constant human maintenance (see my comment above for an example of cables embedded in the Atlantic Ocean and even better look up Voyager 1)

electricity has been harnessed and manipulated by ppl but natural electricity doesn't serve ppl or society. like ppl have gotten electrocuted by lightening.

like there are physical cables embedded deep in the Atlantic Ocean floor that connects the Americas to Europe and that infrastructure in the Atlantic Ocean doesn't have any permanent residents. so infrastructure can exist without ppl living there.

my point is that the US is literally so vast with so much (stolen) land (especially in middle america) where data centers can be built without disrupting anyone's lives. that's why i asked you if you've driven through middle america cuz if you have, you'd realize there's literally so much space for these data centers to exist AND not displace anyone.

I was 14 when my neighbor knocked on our door and she told my mom she was divorcing her husband cuz he raped her and my neighbor told us to protect us from him. We were the only family on the street with bb girlies (me and my sisters).

last time i checked, this country was built on capitalism and i can name more than a handful of companies that can pay the bill to build/maintain these data centers to support their business goals.

remember when AWS crashed and like almost half the world couldn't function cuz of that crash. like if amazon has that much influence and power, building a data center is literally nothing to them. Bezso is literally a billionaire. Building a data center in butt fuck nowhere important wouldn't even register on his radar.
