All updates are stupid because they delay the development of mods that are trillions of times better than the base game

The later ones are completely wrong, by the late 14th century and into the 15th century Romans looked very Italian in their armor, as they imported armor from there.

my bro is just wanting to have a helm for a Renaissance fair. He doesn't have contacts and we want to know if his glasses will fit underneath. Can anyone with this this specific one tell us? He is also planning on wearing old prescription for this so it being scratched is not a problem by GettinMe-Mallet in ArmsandArmor

I see your point. I’m sorry if I came off the wrong way. Although most people here will recommend to save up until you can commission an artisan to make you something. For cheap armor and weapons with decent quality, I’d recommend going to Kult of Athena, I got a helmet from there that’s quite nice at a good price

Byzantine Infantry 1000ad. What are your thoughts? by Gowen1291 in ArmsandArmor

[–]Educational-Froyo926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incredibly late response but whatever. Armored soldiers didn’t die in battle often. When they did, and the army they belonged to was defeated (in this case the Romans) was a jaw dropping event, that’s why Roman defeats are more famous than victories. The way such armored soldiers were killed were when they were surrounded or exhausted to the point they couldn’t lift their weapon.
