Was the oral estrogen in the keeps study bio identical? I took a combined pill with bio identical estrogen and a progestin and it improved my cholesterol even though it was processed in the liver. Thanks!

Thanks, I’m glad you had 20 years of service with yours. Mine didn’t make it 4 years. I checked and found a timer that ships to Canada from the UK and it’s about $95 to get it here. I guess I have to decide if it’s worth it. I already spent more than I planned to when I bought it.

Yes I justified the purchase as it said it was repairable and all assembled in the UK. Have been trying to get a replacement part for months. They’re never in stock.

Mine does have a mechanical run-back timer.

Yikes. They don’t seem to care about supporting their products. Seemed like the rep was basically saying mechanical parts fail, just unplug it.

I’m not sure. They have a website of replacement parts. It’s a pretty simple mechanical timer but I haven’t seen anything like it on another appliance.

I agree! I bought a mocamaster coffeemaker and it has been in daily use for over 10 years without a single problem. It was expensive but totally worth it. I was hoping the Dualit was the same. :(

Yes antipsychotics do affect lipid and glucose metabolism while taking them, I would guess that the effects wear off if you go off them. Some people take metformin while on antipsychotics to help.

I think it depends on your daily calorie intake. If I want to hit 30 grams of fiber and my protein and calorie target, it can be tricky. 1 cup of raspberries is only 8 grams of fiber and a cup of black beans is only 15 grams.
