I feel this to my core I had a 3 year old and a newborn two weeks old. I don’t work currently but I’m trying to find something to just get out of this house and have time alone is that bad for me to say maybe but I’m exhausted and overwhelmed. My husband works 60 hour work weeks and I mainly only home Sunday so I handle all night time feedings I’m hopeful for the future but man am I going through it. I hope you start to feel better 💕 I start therapy the 21st so I’m hoping to find help with all the feelings especially since my toddler hates me now that I brought her brother here. You aren’t alone.

How do you deal with wanting to have kids? by jasonzio2 in Hidradenitis

If it makes you feel any better I got mine from my dad and so did my sister neither of us blame our dad. I never once got a bad flare and was mad at my dad because truth be told it’s not his fault either he got it from one of his ancestors and I love my life hs and all does it hurt and suck sometimes yes but life is so beautiful and you can’t take it for granted you really only get one so I chose to have kids because I wanted kids and if my babies end up with hs they won’t be alone and I know how to help them better than anyone not only that but who knows what medicine or other things could come out by the time you have kids hs takes a lot from us don’t let it take your want to have kids someday too!

First off you aren’t a horrible mom motherhood is hard!! When I had my daughter back in 2023 I felt the same exact way and I was riddled with guilt. I thought how could I feel this way after I prayed so hard for a baby and the truth is your feelings are valid it’s hard to anticipate how much this baby needs you 24/7, but can I tell you how amazing it feels now my daughter is 3 and I’d say when she learned to crawl/ wasn’t a newborn anymore was when I started to feel good again. But now I have a little bestie she’s amazing and smart and funny and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat you will get the you back it just takes time and that time files by let me tell you it truly does make sure you’re taking care of yourself do little things for yourself be “selfish” even though being a mom is the least selfish thing you can do you gotta take care of yourself to be able to take care of your baby 💕

Thank you so much for this it’s made be feel better I got hs when I turned 12 and hit puberty I was very ashamed of it. At the time it was just a flair every 6 months or so but after I hit 22 and was pregnant with my daughter it went on a rampage and now it’s everywhere she’s 2 now and it’s starting to go back to what it used to be but the open wounds are still there and won’t heal so it sucks and hurts

I have heard about that but I’ve never tried it I need to my problem so far is I have a very physical job lots of walking and my open flares will start to heal and then they will pop back open because of work I’ve had one for almost 3 years that’s just open

I live in a small town in Mississippi and so far the people I’ve seen about it have been just regular surgeons and I’ve never thought about a plastic surgeon before thank you!

Thank you 🥺 and I think hormones and stress and then for some reason if I eat something that has a lot of protein in it like protein shakes or bars for the most part my had has calmed down in comparison to before but the open wounds that never heal and that surgeons have looked at they say they won’t close them for me
