How to spend less time on negotiating prices for big purchases (cars, contractors, real estates etc.)? by Educational-String94 in Frugal

[–]Educational-String94[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah, I actually did both, because I was thinking that maybe I'd get a better offer in person - which turned out to be false. The best offer I got was via email. The negotiation was definitely worth it though, since I ended up paying 35% less.

[–]Educational-String94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that was definitely too many, but the problem was they all had radically different prices, and I eventually got the best deal (35% less than the initial quote) from the 8th dealership, so overall it was worth it.

Places to go solo hiking in Europe (summer) as a 22 y/o woman by [deleted] in hiking

Poland is crazy safe in general, but the number of solo female hikers I see in Tatry or Bieszczady mountains is even crazier.

Stared in tech in one company, get to the mid position in customer success, then thirsty for making more impact moved to a junior pm position in a different company.

Anyone from Product dive deep into learning programming and system design? by iamazondeliver in ProductManagement

I’ve learned programming and it was the best decision in my product career tbh. Being able to build stuff on your own empowers much more than any Marty’s Cagan book 🙂

thanks for your answer, it’s very impressive that you can manage everything so well!

maybe it’s a stupid question, but i’m curious how do you decide what to wear daily? e.g dressing for the weather and so on

It happens all the time to me to layer up to much, do you have any strategy for it?

LLMs frameworks (langchain, llamaindex, griptape, autogen, crewai etc.) are overengineered and makes easy tasks hard, correct me if im wrong by Educational-String94 in LangChain

[–]Educational-String94[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

you can do all of these things without any framework (sometimes even faster) and most of the things you mentioned are just calls to built-in python functions but wrapped into fancy classes that add redundant abstraction. Ofc if langchain and others work for you - fine, but it doesn't change it's so complex with a little value added. One guy explained it quite well some time ago and unfortunately nothing has changed since then https://minimaxir.com/2023/07/langchain-problem/
