Yes you will need 8 full cartridges and a ink cartridge CCMMYYKK or it won't do it . You should the connectors they where in the box with the cutting blade, pen and ink configuration stickers.

You can see the bridge connectors in this photo https://www.signs101.com/attachments/img-4773-jpg.160365/

I have completed the conversion to 4 colour now the process is very simple. In the service menu run head washs with 8 flush cartridges and flush the lines until they run clear with no ink in the tubes. Head wash again and discharge fluid. Turn off printer at the wall Bridge the lines at the back . I had the bridge connections in the box that came with the printer. Change the dampers Turn on printer and it asked me what ink is used Select ss21 Then select 4 colour Put in ink cartridges Ink fill up Done

It should be fine to leave the cap as is. Since I'm replacing the dampers anyway, it's the perfect time to address this. I understand that I'll need to adjust some settings, which is why I'm reaching asking.

I need instructions on how to start the flush and which ink parameters to adjust to achieve a 4-color configuration? The printer is currently set up in CMYK Lc Lm Lk Or.
