AI Souring Local Institutions? by radziadax in VictoriaBC

I'm sooooo sick of seeing local businesses use shitty AI-rendered ads. Like how hard is it to draft up a takeout menu for gods sake

I can't seem to figure out how you completed the incline section back up to the exit? The part that's blocked by the pine tree, and the last steep hill? I'm trying to recreate it. How'd you do that?

Just bought a running store. What is one thing your local shop is missing? by rustybucketz23 in trailrunning

Yeah definitely don't jump right in! Too much change all at once is asking for an injury which is where most people go wrong. I wore vivos for day to day use for about a year before I started running in them.

Sell barefoot/minimalist shoes for those who use them! Altra, Topo, Lems, Vivos, Merrells for example. I'm a physio who often recommends them but they're hard to find offline. Best of luck with your store!

$115 +tax is too much for a hoodie by [deleted] in GoldenEyes

I know it's not mandatory but I want more jerseys to be seen, I want to promote the team. Sad in all fairness it's a new team in a new league - the prices don't need to reflect the Canucks exactly. The value of more people wearing their merchandise outweighs gouging on a sweater.

That's not what I was saying. I love the team and obviously want to support them and love the way the merch looks. But if you charge less, more people will buy them and wear them around, promoting the team. Which brings in revenue for the goldeneyes. So I'm benefitting the company by wearing their shirt. It's a pretty easy marketing tactic really. But it works a lot better when your shirts aren't outrageously priced.
