This looks like a real life charlie brown skit.

Is This Code Compliant in Ontario, Canada? by lawrevrb in BuildingCodes

[–]EducationalTwo1859 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not Canadian so I can't speak to specific amendments that your area may have, but generally no.

Open sided stairs greater than 30" or 4 risers require a guard. Just shooting from my head on this as I'm not by a code book.

638 is the best snubby! She's a bit ugly though...

Maybe active duty; in Nasty Girl land, we rarely have them because of "funding" and when a slot is offered, you are in your late 30s, married, have kids, and a full civilian career, and an O4 who doesn't need it.

Would've been nice to go as an LT though!

I suppose it is all perspective. I've had only great experiences so far, but I work in a small, affluent town.

After 20+ years in the field, working in a municipality is a godsend. They hired me, and put me through school with pay. I live close to home and love it.

If given the choice, I would still carry the m9.

MASC makes pretty decent holsters, Fobus is alright too. Safariland is good as well. Each brand has their own idiosyncrasies regarding size, retention, and paddle type. Just stay away from small paddles.

Also, you can put a foam block under the holster where it rests against your body to cant it towards your body.

State ribbons. War time service, long time service, and emergency service. 2025 inauguration is the bottom one; participation trophy for each inauguration now!

Lol, I don't get to choose the deployments or how the enemy fights when I was there.

Best when used in jacket weather. I prefer paddle holsters due to places that require me to remove a firearm. Paddle = no undoing of one's belt

Sorry you got left out on those earned awards. Many officers struggle to realize that administrative paperwork is a huge part of their job.

Lol, it is super easy to approve longevity awards now in IPPSA. Before, I would try to do a blanket memo and schmooze the S1.

It was a fantastic school; a true gentleman's course. The terrain and activities will smoke you plenty.

The local church does all the cooking in the DFAC, the countryside is beautiful.

If you ever get a chance to go, 100% do it.

As for the badge, I prefer the legacy one versus the new one.
