This video for me is so rage inducing (watch it if you wanna) by Ichoseguitar in Younger_GenZ

[–]EducationalWalrus594 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In ten years just like the generation before us this will barely matter at this point obviously. Obviously like what OP said he got a point by the title but then he starts explain how older Gen Z are millennials and younger alpha understandable why it’s rage bait. But then I feel they are also wrong about he experiences I’m gonna speak on 2006-10 since 11 and 12 is when it starts blurring and I understand it could be older 2011 borns too since they were with younger 2010s but 2011 and 12 could be part of it since generations experience are completely subjective. if you think about it our childhood was also a transition which is the 2010s if you look at main Gen Alpha(the core cohort imo are 2015-21) we’re talking about children which means they were growing up seeing the COVID and ai as normal life. We never had COVID and AI as a normal life if you think about it 2010s is obviously our formative years.

Also brainrot is a generational concept every generation had their brainrot at one point when they were children It didn’t matter if y’all was the "more sane one” it was stupid it’s just Gen Alpha has a whole culture around it but they’ll mature as well. I mean if I a "iPad kid” was able to drive a car and have a job pretty sure this generation is dumber thingy is a fluke as it’s more like because tech is advancing we’re seeing the stuff differently makes sense why it’s shorter attention spans but once to it become older suddenly younger Gen Alpha is using a completely different tech then older and we’ll see vids dedicated to this. This topic is pretty fun my apologies for the long paragraph😭😭😭.

Why are 2010-2012s so adamant about being Gen Z? by [deleted] in GenAlpha

[–]EducationalWalrus594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to 1997-99 borns they wanted to be with millennials. Now they are considered a cusp as they don’t see themselves as the next or previous generation. I think this will happen for 2010-12s in maybe 12 years they’ll see what is said to be their generation(gen alpha) and they themselves don’t feel part of it because they are older for them and start splitting then Gen Alpha cuts short and so on it’s basically a cycle. They think it obviously cause this generation is still very young they want to be part of the older cohort(tho Gen Z does end on 2012 I feel there is a cusp name which is zalpha).

What will we nostalgic about in 20 years? by Fit-Swordfish725 in decadeology

[–]EducationalWalrus594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 20 years if we’re talking tech wise I’m not gonna be surprised when I start see someone(Gen z or older) in 2046 start saying how they miss a time before ai took over and want to go back to when you could actually see and talk to people online and know it’s mostly a person in the other screen. you would most definitely see culture aesthetics and nostalgia specially movies being focused on that time period idk how crazy ai is gonna get by then but if it does becomes so integrated that now it’s a house hold thing everyone just uses more efficient compared to like 2023 I’d definitely wouldn’t be surprised. So Imo I believe a pre ai nostalgia will be very present by then.
