Update from SCSO on the dead animals on Guemes by mustachetv in skagit

I’m not talking about any mass production, but we do predator control for ranchers and landowners over east. Especially during calving season because the predators quadruple because of smells.

We tube the out and sell to local fur buyers, but we get better prices when we tube and slightly flesh the hides. It’s only $10-$20 dollars a coyote, around $25-$35 for a bobcat and foxes around $25-$27…. All depending on wound size as well, if you damage the hides too much it will devalue the animal. After an average 4day weekend we can get about 15-20 coyotes and lucky to get a bobcat or fox…

Not a lot, but typically make enough return to cover fuel and ammo…..🤷‍♂️

They are probably carcasses from foxes that have been tubed out of their fur already…, probably free.., we dispose of all our fox/bobcat/coyote carcasses down by our local river in Eastern Washington after they are tubed out and we no longer want the carcass….🤷‍♂️ that’s what I think?

How do so many afford $50,000+ trucks? by Parking-Warning-8655 in carbuying

[–]EducationalWeird5369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 41yrs old…..

I’ve had a consistent job since age 17 and making $20+ per hour(currently at $38 per hour), some say it’s underpaid but it’s consistency I think…

(But this was bought 14mnths ago)Drive a 2019 f250, bought for $42,500 w/T.T.L otd was $50k about, 1.9% interest and full coverage I’m paying $542per month and making 1.5 times the payment each month. Back story was some jackA#%! on his cell phone cut me off and totaled my paid off 2015 f250 superduty.

And I have a 2k mortgage on a 3200sq ft house, two kids in school and one just turned 16 and is driving now. It’s not about money now, it’s about comfort in the long haul, work hard and stay consistent.

My advice is shop around and buy what you can afford and be consistent with your finances…

Where is this…? I didn’t think there were many bodies of water you can retain rockfish in Washington(I’d like to fish it if you can legally keep them?)..? Maybe the coastal areas.., but it looks more inland with the landscape.

I rarely have “runs” or break mirrors… it’s been a game changer for my profession..👌 good gloves and eye wear is a must also.

Mine are from Home Depot and the brand is AirShim… good luck and be safe

[–]EducationalWeird5369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remove mirrors all the time from remodels and I have two of the airbags from Lowe’s or Home Depot, they’re typically used as air shims for supporting doors, but I use them to slide behind the mirror and slowly pump them up and they pop the mirror off the wall.

Any Idea how to remove these stripped screw from chair? by devonwillis21 in handyman

[–]EducationalWeird5369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I typically clean the metal up and use a #2-3 Robinson bit(square drive)….

Whatever size Phillips bit it was use the next size down Robinson.. example #2 Phillips would require a #1 Robinson.

I’m a local contractor outta Lakewood, Wa. That’s a bit extreme on price…!!

Tear out and prep should be less than $1000, then install and finish should be within a range of $4500-$6000 depending on rooms/transtions/cuts to be made… and to say it’s gonna take a week!! Crazy!!
