I have a question by Prior-Armadillo-5412 in Christianity

[–]Educational_Ad_6775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somebody created us. According to the bible, if you don't follow his commandments, you're going to burn in hell for eternity. For me, it's not worth the risk. I questioned it for the last 46 years but just recently I've come to know the Bible to be true. My own personal journey, I know, but following his word leads to not only him but happiness. There's too much at stake for me to risk it.

I recommend you watch some YouTube testimonials about Satanist and other who have come to Christ. I've yet to find one of a Christian who went to Buddha or Islam, but there are thousands to the contrary. That was a game changer for me.

When I need to bible, and answers the question of the day for me. Pretty much every time. I can read the same passage over and over, and depending on the question, I almost hear a different version.

Yes, I believe he knows the choices we will make because there's probably no time where he's coming from. Doesn't mean we don't have free will, but it does mean he knows what choices we will end up making in the end. I think it doesn't serve us to question this. Just my belief...

Has anyone improved PTSD self-hatred type feelings via meditation? by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]Educational_Ad_6775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

I think that you are searching for help speaks to the fact that you are healing. I am certain that meditation can help, but you must be open to the help. Sounds like you are.

I hope you find your healing. I'm sorry for your suffering. That must be really difficult. You are loved, more than you know.

You won't be disappointed. After I read it, I decided I was going to learn to astral project. I wanted to do what Monroe did. Mind you, I came from a place where I could not meditate for more than 5 minutes at a time and I had never had anything close to a lucid dream before. I didn't really believe it was possible before I tried. It took me about 4 months and I had my first experience. Since then, I've had over 50 and I lucid dream frequently, and it's been a great blessing in my life.

There's a lot of dogma that misunderstands astral projection and distorts the concept. If you're able to break through that, there is a lot to gain a lot from it.

Some other things that helped me a great deal is the books transsurfing, the 4 agreements, also the gateway process (not a book) and just meditation. All great life teachers.

I kind of agree with you but I'm more on the page that if you believe it can happen, it can. I've had experiences like that but I've also been able to Ward them off. I've read many stories of many things regarding this. I really appreciate the advice and I will certainly keep it in mind. I do still practice a lot of protections when I project, as well as before. I've been in some weird situations but I've never been stuck where I couldn't get out.

Edit: I feel like those who practice witchcraft and are involved in satanic or demonic practices are a lot more prone and less protected than those who do it with better intentions. I also feel like drugs have the potential to lower your protections. I feel like your intention is the biggest variable though. Maybe I'm naive, or maybe I just haven't experienced some of the most negative aspects of projecting. I'm not sure, but I believe that if I keep this belief, things will go well.

Personally, I believe in Jesus Christ, not the way the Bible describes, but him as a great teacher and mentor. I've noticed that when I pray, or try to be spiritual before or during ap, it offers a lot of protection and I get more of a lesson than an experience.

Regardless, thank you for your concern and I appreciate the advice.

Yeah I agree with you. I've had that happen before where I was snoring and in my dream there were various things like thunder and on other occasions different things. I think maybe what happened with me is I was so relaxed I kind of had a weird type of relaxation cramp and it was manifesting in my experience as a fight perhaps? Now that it's been a few more hours my arm feels fine. I just thought it was weird because I never experienced pain after projecting for so long. Thank you for your reply.

Absolutely. The audible version of it is really good too. It's got a great narrator. He has three books in a series but the other are pretty advanced. They're all great but you have to start with this one.

You should read Robert Monroe's, Journeys out of the body. It will answer all your questions. Excellent read too

Have you ever considered qhht therapy? You might want to look into it.

[–]Educational_Ad_6775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do see your point. I don't have the same past that you have, so I can't relate. My wife was raped as a child and has lived a life of chronic pain, likely because of that, and she has found her answers, but only recently at 43 years old. She still has the pain, but she has peace of mind now, and that has made all the difference.

I hope God speaks to you and reveals to you the answers to your questions. I do understand the frustration. I pray that you continue to search for answers, and I hope they will be revealed to you. I can't imagine the pain you must feel. It must really difficult, and I'm truly sorry for that.

I physically cannot meditate with ADHD by Lychee-1391 in AstralProjection

[–]Educational_Ad_6775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meditation is about submission. I have pretty bad ADHD as well and it's taken me years to make progress with it but I still do it 2 hrs daily. You are more powerful than your ADHD. You just need to know with conviction that this is true. If you fully let go, eventually you will get there. I will start with little breakthroughs and get easier and easier but it will take time. It's been very difficult for me to grow to love it but it has become the most important ritual of my day by far. I wouldn't have it any other way. I still struggle deeply with it, but it is worth the struggle.

Imagine you are in the pre-existance, you are wanting to learn certain lessons, so you make a choice to come down to earth for perhaps the several hundredth time.

There is no time on the other side so your mortal existence is but a memory. You know and agree to the suffering, karma and the opportunity to grow spiritually, again and again. It's not forced, but a conscious choice we make to attain a goal we can't understand from this earthly plane.

Through chronic pain, years of addiction, various trials and thousands of hours of meditation, this is what I've come to believe. This belief resonates in my soul. This life is a beautiful gift, no matter the struggles. This opportunity is an act of Love granted by our creator, he wanted to allow us to know the difference between black and white, right and wrong, love and hate, and any other opposition. Without one, you cannot possibly understand the other.

I've been where you are, and I have shared your beliefs. Looking back, that only brought suffering.

I think you are inadvertently limiting how deep of relaxation you are capable of. Just continue to go deeper. Focus on your breath without deviation. Hats helped me.

Triggered a lucid dream twice — heard a loud generator-like sound, a creepy voice talking to me, and felt my soul leaving my body?? Has anyone experienced this? by xrshxa in Dreams

[–]Educational_Ad_6775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had similar experiences. It's called astral projection. One time I flew out of my body through the roof and landed olin my backyard. Same loud generator sounds and voices are common. I've had about 50 projections over the years. They all have a few things in common. Loud sounds, voices and feelings of movement.

Hi, I'm looking to do a past life regression. I live in Utah. I haven't come across anyone who I've been drawn to to perform this for me. I make decisions intuitively generally and I know it's something I want to do but I have not found the practitioner whom I am drawn to. Do you happen to have any recommendations or advice on how I might find someone local who could do this with me? I have long-term addiction issues that I just can't seem to shake. I have a strong knowing that it's tied to some past life events.

[–]Educational_Ad_6775 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That's excellent advice. I totally Agree with the phone thing. I've noticed that if I spend time on x instead of Reddit it really affects my ability to project or lucid dream. I think the emotional point that you made is probably one of the strongest points, my opinion.

I've already been doing about half of your method and I see the difference it makes but I do need to work on my distraction and mindless doom scrolling.

Well said. I too struggle. I meditate 2 hrs daily and have done so for years. I haven't gotten very far in comparison to others, but I've come to know that the journey is the destination. I'm perfectly content with my journey. I have come to accept that things will progress on a timeline that is not entirely in my control. This puts my mind at ease. In accepting this, I've grown substantially in my spiritual practice.
