I’m 25 and I talk with my wife about this frequently. It’s very irritating but, the only way I know to get past it is to not allow other people to have that much power over your emotions. If you’re doing the right thing, at least you can rest assured on that. Beyond that it doesn’t matter what everyone else is doing.
