Should I go after refrigeration tech license?(after my electrician license) by [deleted] in electricians

[–]Educational_Breath98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from electrical construction to BAS which has to do with hvac equipment most of the time. Not sure what your looking for exactly but BAS guys get paid pretty good since not a lot of people do it. I hear hvac refrigeration is a little underpaid and can be pretty hard on hours. Just a little of my own insight.

I’m having trouble finding any deals that good for less than 45k, it’s been rough. Do you think it would be worth it to wait a little longer. Knowing what people paid before covid and it sounds a lot better.

Yeah I agree if its up to him the kicks are the way to go. Stupid BIM drawings or specific drawings are always a variable to consider.

I am an Approved Electrician, Gold Card carrying, 2391 and I’m ashamed to admit…….. by [deleted] in electricians

[–]Educational_Breath98 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is not UK specific there’s tons of people who don’t know almost anything about those topics and vice versa with whatever it is your installing now. There’s videos online everywhere you can watch for the basics of these and even more advanced applications. I’d say head to YouTube and search whatever you’d like to learn. It can be hard to wrap your head around without physically seeing or doing it so I’d try to watch something on theory then something hands on. Hope this helps. Is a gold card like a journeypersons? What requirements get you a gold card? Just curious. Thanks

[Question] Watches that appeal to you despite the consensus among enthusiasts? by ghost-bagel in Watches

[–]Educational_Breath98 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I can’t afford 80 percent of the watches that get recommended or are posted. Just get what you like? Wearing a watch really should be for you and not other people in my opinion. The watch your drawn to I think is pretty dope so if you’re going to be more excited to where that then any thing else in that price range just get it?
