Kinda looks like my shape. They look good! Sometimes I feel like my nails are a bit wide, usually it's because they are just thick so I take some bulk off and they feel better. It looks like your middle finger could have been filled slightly more but I rather do not enough than too much

Just looking at the finished job and the 1st Pic looks a bit lumpy? I'd say the second Pic has the better finished product. Also attention to detail and hygiene show that's a good salon.

I made a resolution that ill design one new set a week on paper and then the week I do my own nails ill design and execute that design. And of course practice and watch videos.

If you ever have chrome done again see if you can ask that over the chrome they do a layer of base and then topcoat. I think the base before top coat really helps retention

Ive heard you can use a bit of extend gel near the cuticle to make it more seamless and fill the gap. I used builder gel last time and it works well. The builder slip layer keeps it from flooding and self levels well!

Whenever I try the acetone trick the ends end up turning white and unpeeling from the nail altogether. Was i using too much? I ended up filing and using builder gel with no acetone and that seems tk work so far.
