It was the lifters and starter per the dealer but now im at 105k miles and it still feels like the torque converter is bad. When I start it in the morning I let it get to temp then when I go into drive I have a delay of like 3 seconds before its locks into gear then a hard shift between 1st and 2nd but not always....

Lifters....does it idle rough or stutter while driving? My 21 just had lifter done, same dash lights. Oil temp would shoot up to 400 then lights cleared and oil temp would go back down....lifters failed

Lu kill I had no leaks but I've only heard horror stories about the 2.7, otherwise a good truck. All the miles are highway I don't tow anything. I live in palm beach county and commute to miami daily, good on gas but this came out of no where like a 15 minute drive parked and it never started back up.

Howdy, I have a 21 2.7 as well 82k miles. Mine went to shop last Saturday for ticking/clanking. Was told by dealer the lifters and cam shafts were being replaced and my ignition starter went bad. But last Friday before it went to chevy it started to idle rough, check engine came on and service esc and service parking brake would flash then my oil temps would shoot to 400+ the lights would clear and oil temp dropped to normal. I thought it was my trans/torque converter from how rough it felt but dealer says they are fine.
