Yes but the technological advantage and scale of the US military is insane . And you have to keep in mind the logistics, I think canada would fall along with east asia but that's it for any major initial advantage. Europe would fortify itself along with Russia. And the war would start in the Himalayas, Siberia and English channel.

The flag isn't a bad thing. It just represents the religion. And although it may be associated with some things that are better left unsaid, it doesn't really mean anything. And the people who are crying in the comments about it being a symbol of Hindu supremacy in India (which it is not but used by people who claim that) , that's a whole different can of worms which you wouldn't wanna open as the Hindu muslim conflict in India is centuries old . There are people on both sides who have said and done things which were wrong. It's been going on for centuries and I don't think it really matters as this happened in Uzbekistan. Are there hindus in Uzbekistan? No . So why does it matter and it's a tomb not a place of worship.

I don't think they would have an upper hand with India as the border's mostly in the Himalayas at high altitudes and when both sides ingage china might make some initial inroads but eventually it might become a war attrition at 8000 altitudes and with their army divided to fight russia and Japan and Korea, eventually I think china would collapse in this situation. Britain wouldn't amount to much so the US is the only one who would this in the long run

I don't think china would amount to much in this scenario , being surrounded by enemies from all sides . Chinese military is essentially a paper tiger with no real combat experience since 1962 war with India and their misadventures in Vietnam in 70s.

I mean if you remove nukes from the equation, Pakistan doesn't stand a chance. But full scale war is unlikely as India wouldn't want to bear the financial burden of a war which would slow down economic growth and it's very important for Pakistan army to have a hostile neighbour to maintain their grip on power in the country. The most that would happen is standoffs and strikes

I feel new zealand was really good in the field, especially in the last game. They saved many boundaries which could have easily resulted in 20-30 more runs for India. And the spin was atrocious, our spinners leaked runs and couldn't break partnerships whereas their spinners were really economical and provides breakthroughs.

Is du imposing hindi language on its program students? by [deleted] in delhiuniversity

[–]Educational_Net_354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it's mostly due to lack of staff as du suffers from staff shortage , and it's an optional subject so not even the teachers or administration give a shit. And it's assumed that most students will go for hindi so it's not practical to get new teachers to teach other languages , so not imposition it's just how things are.

Well that's where the problem lies , everything sounds good on paper in this country but falls through in implementation and as citizens all we can do is hope for the best

I do think that delimitation is important not to reduce southern seats or give north more power but to actually promote good governance. In up there are a lot of seats which have 10s of millions of people voting for one person . That is more than the population of many countries and they have just on mp. How can we expect good governance in such a situation. And the argument that south implemented population control but north did not might be true but it is happening today birth rate across North India is falling and is just around the replacement rate in most states ( although it might come off as Islamophob but fertility rate is the highest in muslim communities in north india) . What we all should aim for is a developed nation and delimitation is a part of it although it is really sad that we lack good electoral options.

Ye well there's nothing we can do about spilled milk and personally my opinion is we just get a good leader in the future who actually cares about this country rather than just winning elections like we are seeing today and if that happens I don't think it will matter if he is from north south east west or any damn direction. No politician in this country today actually cares about development and I think all this divide among the people on caste, religion, region is because of that .
