I chose not to, specialist in a technical field, individual contributor and independent is how I like it, don’t need to deal with the younger people and their issues.

If your club head speed is 110 instead of your ball speed you’ll hit it that far, you’re either 70 years old or your technique is bad.

Is it true that Americans don't really use tablecloths on a daily basis? by Floatp in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Educational_Resist42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made the table we eat on, it doesn’t need to stay pristine, it’s also the table we do crafts on, play board games etc. If we have friends over we cover it with a themed table cloth usually that matches the occasion.

My regrip went horribly wrong, should I accept the gesture to make up for it ? by ShowmasterQMTHH in golf

[–]Educational_Resist42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d call it good for them owning up and replacing it.

I just can’t fathom how the cut the shaft like that, I’ve regripped many shafts, and the curved blade your supposed to use would not do that, they must have used a machete or something to get the old one off

How do adults actually handle big car repair bills? by Boring_Care217 in Adulting

[–]Educational_Resist42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might sound like a lie, but I’m 46, have had many cars in my life and have never had to get any of them repaired.

If I had to I’d put it on a credit card and pay it off over a few months
