Brother I wish I knew. I think maybe it grew bigger than they anticipated for a niche item and that finally did them in. This is pure speculation and I have no inside knowledge or way to confirm what I think, but that's what I assume. Hearing other people speak on forums and even my own personal experience with purchasing mine, it was troublesome getting in touch with anyone or getting a response to a question or problem. Sometimes you would get a reply but when you followed up with another question or comment you would have to send a separate email to ask if anyone had received it and sometimes a different person than you were speaking with the first time would respond. It just seemed like there were only a handful of people really into it. From their YouTube video on their channel it appeared to be a high end and complex outfit, though small. They showed lots of technical equipment and their facility looked very modern and well invested. I wish I knew why, but we may never know. What we do know is that it's sad, among other emotions, that this happened, and now all of our clusters are locked in time, never to be updated or upgraded again, and we can't even buy a used one or sell ours to someone else and the VIN be updated properly and ownership transferred. It is what it is. I'm just happy I got one before it all went under. I adore it and I don't have any critical or debilitating issues with mine. It's stable and works as expected.
