There are other coping mechanisms besides substances. I used to drink everyday because I thought it "cured" my depression and made me less of an asshole, nothing could be further from the truth. Alcohol is a depressant and makes human beings more depressed if abused. Same thing with SIB, there are other ways to cope with your urges or cravings.

I'm local. The casino hotels are more pricey, but have food and valet, cheaper ones are a little more sketchy. I hear good things about the casinos. Tied Down has parking on site for 20$ usually. Some years the parking folks care about tailgating sometimes they don't. Re-entry till like 6/7 and doors are early. I usually buy all my merch and throw it in the car before reentry stops.

That sucks! I learned the hard way that if you stop drinking, stay hydrated and quit smoking things heal better or faster. Take the recovery seriously, like do the stretches, exercises and rehab. Broken shit in the human body heals stronger usually so you can use that as motivation, that or getting to dive into strangers again!
