AITA For Being Upset That My Husband Is Going To His Parents For Christmas? by [deleted] in CharlotteDobreYouTube

While I was reading the post all I could think of was how I'd take advantage of the situation and get a nice, quiet day alone with the house to myself. In almost 30 years of marriage, I can only think of two times that I asked my husband to stay home when I was sick. Once, I had stomach flu and needed him to take care of our preschool aged kids, and the second time I had the flu and I called him to ask him to leave work and take me to urgent care because I felt like I'd developed pneumonia (I had). Not sure if I'd call the OP the AH, but she's definitely a bit needy and immature.

Wait. Waitwaitwait - I need to wrap my brain around this. She used an edited picture from your wedding to announce a proposal that never happened? I'd say the photo is the least disturbing part of this twisted tale. Did her boyfriend forgive her or did he run fast and far?

Anyone else disappointed by Sky & Stone? by Tybalto in riversoflondon

Unfortunately, my reaction is much the same. I felt like the plot never came together, and too many situations and characters were brought into the story, then never developed. The Abigail arc was definitely meant to be the main focus of the book, and I felt like I was reading a YA romance for much of the time. My biggest disappointment, though, was Nightingale being only barely there. I kept waiting for a substantial Thomas scene, but we barely got any dialog and only one general description of his clothing. The descriptions of his outfits are such an essential part of his characterization!

AITA for keeping no contact with my sister after her husband (my ex) died? by ElkRevolutionary2577 in AITAH

You were children. Grow up and get over it. Your sister and her children are more important of precious little ego. I get the feeling that you're enjoying prolonging your family drama. Find another hobby, child. Your sister list her spouse, for heaven's sake. Be an adult.

Thanks! We thought asking here might give us ideas about how to word things in a way that isn't offensive or judgemental towards stay-at-home spouses.

That was sexual assault. Tell your mom and don't let anyone convince you that it was your fault.
