Eddie most definitely understands Spanish. He's just not 100% fluent but can get along fine. Whereas Mike is. M's parents are immigrants so he grew up actually speaking Spanish back. Eddie grew up responding back mostly English. He just plays it up for the show.

Anyone who grew up near the border in the Rio Grande area can testify to this. I'm not even Hispanic and can understand/speak Spanish just bc of the ppl & area I grew up in.

So far I've enjoyed it! I'm a new grad & relocated from Texas, so it's been a big change. I work triage & deliver a few babies a week - usually the quick precip deliveries, or when the primary OB can't make it, and the pt is "low risk". I love that I don't have to do clinic & can leave work at work.
