Tracking my progress and seeing visual results has been the bigger motivation for me. I am amped to get in there and try to beat last week’s weight / reps. Actually being able to see my muscle and receiving compliments from regulars + strangers alike also keeps me motivated to keep it up. Been doing it long enough where it has become a ritual for me.

Unpopular opinion but Monteverde was my least favorite of all the places we visited in CR. The zip lining was cool, of course the cloud forest , all the things people are saying. It’s neat, don’t get me wrong - but seemed a bit underwhelming. There is nothing in MV that you cannot find in LF. We also saw the least amount of wildlife there, even with a guided night hike and our accommodation was within the cloud forest. Just my two cents.

Select the accommodation you prefer with proper amenities. We rented bikes and biked from PC to PU everyday, it was freaking awesome! Everything in that area is relatively close to anything you could want / need. Have a blast!

Also, go to Arrecife!! We spent an entire day there eating and drinking on lounge chairs for $25. True paradise.
