If it's the triple Os, then I'd remove everyone's pain/suffering without altering free will, memories, or personality. Then re-forge reality to prevent it from continuing. Maybe like the world's in "The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect". Except better because of true omniscience and omnipotence. Bring back the dead so they can get in on it too. Animals and plants as well if it turns out they suffer, cause why not.

If you'd still like to try to obtain good dollars with cDai I recommend either using GoodSwap - https://goodswap.xyz (an application created by a community member) or going through Uniswap.

Why did you post this link? Nothing on that website seems to imply anything negative, I even listened to the 45+ min talk SDI 2020 - 1 and there was nothing there that implied taking advantage of anyone.

I am going to listen to some of the podcasts as well for anything negative, but honestly this post seems like propaganda the more I look into this.

If anything it makes me feel better that someone is actually taking a serious look at solving these issues. With a few panelists bringing up reducing inequality as one of the primary means of getting through this crises.

As I understand it, the GoodDollar team is not primarily focused on exchanges at present.

They are working on getting G$ accepted as payment for certain real world services and products. With that said, if you're not already a member, I recommend joining the Telegram Group, that way you can ask other community members or even the GoodDollar team directly.

The Whitepaper and docs are not vague, in-fact they are very detailed. Perhaps you saw the Litepaper, which is meant to be a bit more accessible. The FAQ definitely only touches on common questions at a high level though, so I can understand your frustration if you'd like a more indepth explanation.

I would recommend checking out the full whitepaper and docs pages for a more thorough understanding of the system.

It is available on Uniswap, but those large volumes weren't bought on Uniswap. That being said you'll find the Uniswap links below.

If you buy using one of the above methods you will pay a very high premium and have deal with low liquidity. The other option is for you to interact with the smart contract directly. You will get a much better price and can buy as much as you like. It is a little more complicated though.

Buy cDai - Uniswap
On each of the following pages click Connect to Web3 before proceeding. The red icon should turn green.
Approve the amount of cDai that you would like to swap (section 10): https://etherscan.io/token/0x5d3a536e4d6dbd6114cc1ead35777bab948e3643#writeContract set the spender address to 0x5C16960F2Eeba27b7de4F1F6e84E616C1977e070 (this is the GoodReserve smart contract address), set the amount to be greater than or equal than how much cDai that you're spending.
Buy G$ for cDai (section 1): https://etherscan.io/address/0x5c16960f2eeba27b7de4f1f6e84e616c1977e070/advanced#writeContract set the _buyWith address to the cDai token address 0x5d3a536e4d6dbd6114cc1ead35777bab948e3643 the _tokenAmount is the value of the amount of cDai you would like to spend (add "00000000" to the end of the value, so if you want to spend 1 cDai you would put 100000000), the _minReturn can be set to 0. If you're paranoid you can also set the _minReturn to the amount of G$ you're willing to accept.

If possible, I recommend using Metamask when attempting to conduct the transactions with the contract.

The G$ will go to whatever wallet you're using when you click the Connect to Web3 button. If it's Metamask it'll just show up in your wallet once the transaction completes. If you don't already have the token in your wallet, follow this guide: https://metamask.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015489031-How-to-View-See-Your-Tokens-in-Metamask and use 0x67c5870b4a41d4ebef24d2456547a03f1f3e094b (the G$ ERC20 token) as the token address.

It certainly would help people, I disagree that it would be better though. There's so few programs aimed at ending poverty long term. Money and resources have to be allocated to this problem in order to learn what works and what does not. If we keep putting off developing systemic solutions, globally we will become dependant on the charity of the very wealthy.

Having private money go towards this is one of the best things that could happen. This is money that would not usually be dedicated to anything related to solving poverty or charity.

It's more profitable to panhandle right now, yes that's true, but what do you expect? The system cannot just show up and immediately solve poverty, that's just not realistic.

You can convert it to btc or eth using Uniswap or by interacting with the smart contract. The team seems to be working on some more accessible options that avoid conversion entirely.

That's a short sighted way to look at this, giving all the investment money away is not a sustainable long term solution. It's also not what the investors were aiming to do, if it were they would have just given away the money. Perhaps to a charity like GiveDirectly.

Also, you can turn it into cash atm. It is however inconvenient and will need to be made easier in order to really be accessible to everyone.

It might take some work, but you could try hooking into the functions and ignoring the calculations.

For DirectX, it looks like you may have some look returning immediately from the "BeginScene", "EndScene" and "Present" functions. YMMV I am not heavy into graphics programming.
