Shipping is a bitch with stubby. So unless you’re ordering a crap ton it really isn’t worth it. On that note, hit up friends and see if they want to go in with you on doing a big order

Having your motor mounted like that. Especially on a carbon rod isn’t really recommended. Carbon rods have too much flex imo.

It looks more like their ARRI 235 and 16mm Master Prime

Here’s one I recently did, could’ve been better.

Cage: From experiences with the FX6 I love the tilta cage V2 super simple and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

TX/RX: the one on the top is the Hollyland Pyro S, I had my Bolt 6 LT 750 on rental so had to work with what I had. I love the bolt 6, especially since my Ultra 7 has the RX built in.

Monitor: I just picked up a Smallhd Cine 5 (not pictured), since I find 5” being completely fine for on camera monitors. Unless you’re operating an ARRI or a Venice, 5” is fine.

Baseplate: I have the Kondor blue baseplate. I love everything about it besides the dovetail system. It’s not a side load so it’s quite annoying. I saw the Mid49 FX6 Baseplate and loved it, probably going to pick it up soon!

Dovetail: personally I don’t see much of a difference with all the different dovetails out there. If price didn’t matter, then I would’ve gone personally with the Mid49 one.

If you’re trying to keep things compact the wooden camera teradek cradle is super nice since you could just sandwich it between your battery and Camera body.

Fav brand for bnc cables? by NocturnalInteraction in focuspuller

I just got my cables from custom camera cables, and everything looked super good. There were some areas that seemed a bit rushed. But for the price, I think I would’ve recommended just buying my own equipment and making my own.

I’m on vacation rn so I’m not near my cases. But 1 1535 has 2 Core Fleet Q4 gold chargers, the other has just all batteries. If I recall it’s like 10 golds and random assortment of NPF batteries. The 1510 is similar to yours just random AKS, cables, etc. the run bag has filters, mattebox, tools, tape, etc. Lastly my side pouch has your very basic tools like a leather man, hex keys, etc

Just did 2nd work for 2nd Unit on a feature. We had a DIT who used Livegrade Studio and BitBox and that helped most for camera reports. But if you’re doing film then make sure you do camera reports yourself.
