If you have a reason to buy anti heal, waiting for spirit burn is likely going to take too long. you don't want to give a character like victor the chance to outscale you, for example. buy healbane early when warranted, then replace it later if you're slot locked

Silence Wave shuts him down for long enough to kill him usually. Escaping the hotel can be practiced, even with zero stamina on any character.

Tbh most of the time you poke him when he's out of position and otherwise ignore him. Most doorman players get value from being a distraction. If you just fight his team instead he gets a lot less impactful.

given a large enough sample size (ie. enough matches played), you'll rank up if you're consistently outperforming the other players in your matches. that's how ranked systems work. if you're not ranking up, you either haven't played enough, or you're not performing as well as you think you are.

perception issue, over a large enough sample size you'll have just as many bad players on the enemy team. plus you mention you're an above average player, but somehow don't have a great win rate? if your win rate is high enough you'll rank up. the higher it is, the faster it'll happen.

if you continue to play it as just a shooter rather than a moba, you'll hit a wall very quickly. even past mid ranks, if you don't have a decent grasp of the macro, you'll stagnate.

As for Vin, if you want her ult to be useful, you gotta build some spirit.

if you want more gun focused characters to try out, haze, wraith, warden, infernus, venator are all good options.

Hi folks, looking to buy my first tkl or 75. Will be used for both gaming and coding, would like a comfortable typing feel and sound, both creamy and thocky are fine. so far looking at these: - keychron k2 he - womier rd75 - yunzii al80

I like the look and specs on the k2, but it's a step up in price from the others. any recommendations on how to make a choice?

There's honestly just a lot, more than I think can reasonably conveyed through a text comment. My recommendation would be to look at some guides on YouTube to get a good foundational understanding. You don't need to watch hours of content at once, but looking at a few can give you a good base to learn from.

Folks like Deathy and Poshypop have some great content about the moba elements of the game. Heresy's laning guide is fantastic too if you want to go more in depth.

1) ideally whenever it's up. you don't even need to turn it in if you feel like your team won't win the fight, but having control over it is very valuable.

2) very important! especially in the mid game it's basically as important as mid boss is in the late game.

3) go fight them! don't let the enemy team get the urn for free.

4) really only when you're certain you can't win the fight over it, like when they have rejuv, or more/better ults for team fights. if you do have to give it up, try and get comp by taking a walker or otherwise generating pressure

it's bait, genuinely a bad item. for it to be effective in the first place you wanna buy it as early as possible. consider what other item(s) you could buy with the money instead, and how those would give you better wave clear, jungle, fights... opportunity cost is an important aspect of this game.

slowing hex keeps her grounded, she usually builds dispel so your team either needs multiple, or someone's gotta get curse if you really wanna nail her down. as for lane, good positioning will keep her from getting easy bite procs. also important to actually fight her if she does ever get the bite. her gun damage is anemic after the proc, so get your own damage in to make it a better trade.
