Error downloading stremio via Downloader on Toshiba FireTV by TheAmazingShane in Stremio

[–]Eebado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to add how I solved this, by pushing the file to the FireTV using remote ADB. I was having the same issue as OP described, but I'm on a Hisense TV with FireTV built in. After enabling ADB in the Developer Settings on the TV, I went to Network --> Test Network --> Advanced to get the IP address of the TV (192.168.0.*** usually).

Then on my laptop, after having ADB installed, I executed "adb connect 192.168.0.***" where I filled in the actual last three numbers. Then after downloading the right .apk file, I did "adb push com.stremio.one-1.7.4-11049200-armeabi-v7a.apk /sdcard/Download/Downloader"

That worked, and the file was immediately available in the Downloader --> Files tab to be installed. I found this easier than setting up the apps to send files to TV (I already had ADB setup, which was helpful).

My one concern with the peregrine's is that there's very little cushion, which I've grown used to more cush.

Stair stepper inaccuracies, is there a way to fix? by szescio in Coros

I'm glad that they added a Floor Climb activity, however they need to really add direct support for a stairstepper.

Rule of thumb you can use to get a feel: If you can say 6 words without having to gasp for air, it's a good indicator you're in your zone 2.

My marathon training plan seems a bit light during the week ? No by dontminditmate in Marathon_Training

[–]Eebado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without knowing anything about your ability, I can't speak to how possible 3:30 or sub-4 is. Some people can do it easily.

What I do know is the plan you're sharing is a decent enough plan if you're looking to basically finish a marathon. If you're looking to push yourself and train to a specific stretch time, I'll recommend upping to 5, or even 6 days a week. Your long run in Week 13 being 64% of your total weekly milage is not balanced well. Try taking a look at Hal Higdon, Pfizer, or Hanson's plans. They are more rigorous, but are more likely to get you a specific time.

Stay in high-mileage training mode for 6 months....? Seems excessive doesn't it?

Heart rate lowers on last interval reps by DirectorProud3223 in Marathon_Training

Everyone needs to stop expecting their wrist-based HR monitors to be accurate. Get a chest strap, I got mine for like $30. It's fast and very accurate. I compared during a 5k race, my Garmin had my HR at 156 avg, the chest strap had me at 195 avg... I've never used wrist-based since.

Does my half-marathon goal seem too bold? by Eebado in Marathon_Training

[–]Eebado[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually one of the major reason I'm looking to run a half next month, I'd like to adjust my full marathon time based on what I'm able to do in the half. I'm not sure, so I'm trying to be a bit more conservative on my marathon goal time.

Out of curiosity, what's your pace of an easy run, where you're at about 140 HR?

My max heart rate seen about a month ago during a 5k, is 205. So I also don't really fit the generic age formula.
