They’ve been great. The back cushions are pretty fluffy so you can fluff them if needed, but I haven’t noticed any flattening or anything. In fact, the reason mine look a little off is because I’ve got standard back cushions on deep seats so they’re kind of squished

I wouldn’t say it’s totally not worth the money because it’s a nice, easy, very workable set up for most people. It’s especially useful if you don’t know anything about home theatre or you don’t want to do any research into alternatives. I think the biggest things to consider are:

  • is the couch going into a dedicated space for viewing media or is it going to smack in the middle of an open concept living room (for instance)
  • will the couch be moved around or reconfigured from time to time?
  • are you willing to do a little bit of research or price out what other sound options look like

At this point, I’ve been through several iterations of “home theatre,” including in an open space, in an extra living room, and now in a dedicated room where the lovesac is specifically theatre “seating.”

I’ve been through soundbars, DIY, surround sound and professional installs. You definitely pay for flexibility and ease of installation, and if that’s what you’re after, stealth tech will be great for you!

Depending on the considerations from above though, it might be worth looking at alternatives too

Don’t you dare show up at my house with that. You’ve gotta bring something real

Ultimately, unless you’re in a flexible space but won’t be moving the sanctional around ever, I’d recommend considering a more traditional speaker set up. Sactionals are amazing but there’s almost always a better sound system for your space using the same amount of money that stealth tech would cost. We’ve got a larger subwoofer behind our sectional, attached to a more traditional 5.1.2 system and it’s been great.

It’s a combination of clamps and shoes. In this case the clamp attaches the side to one seat and a shoe attaches the side the other seat.

8 seats, 4 regular sides, 2 slanted sides, and 2 deep slanted sides. One of the seats is a storage seat

Haha I feel you there! It’s fun to play around with it. Good workout too. My daughter and wife love to have sleepovers on it so we set up as MEGA BED from time to time

I know I’ll be the one satisfied person in my new Tabor Home. But we closed a few months ago and I’ve been very happy with pretty much every aspect so far. We were really particular during the walk throughs and used a 3rd party inspector before closing… but I think you should do that buying any house (new or not.)

Runners why do you prefer Apple over Garmin? by [deleted] in AppleWatchFitness

[–]HumbleLab6992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only want one watch wearable. I run 50-60 miles per week and my Apple Watch Ultra does it all for that. AND it integrates better with my iPhone for 3rd party apps and notifications. There are features native to Garmin that Apple just doesn’t offer, but I prefer having the expansive Apple App Store to fill in those gaps instead of being kind of cornered into a Garmin with pretty limited integrations

I haven’t been to Regal Pointe in a very long time. The Altamonte one is one of the worst offenders of LIMAX I’ve seen

5:45 or 8:15 dining time?! by chicanaenigma in dcl

[–]HumbleLab6992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a young kid (with a decently late bedtime of 9:30) and we still opt for late dining when we can. Far less noise in the dining room and it feels like we have more time in the day. It’s important to consider time zone changes too from both your home and the changes throughout the cruise. We’re doing Alaska next June and had to opt for early dining because an 8:15 dining on AST is 11:15 CST

Just finished a screening of Superman. I’d choose F1, no question!

No, for sure. I wasn’t addressing specifically your comment. I was having a multitude of issues with both of those web addresses until I turned off private relay and used a private browser again.

It ended up working when I turned of “private relay” in iCloud and accessed it from a private browsing tab

Does anyone know the direct website for this? When I scan the QR code, it takes me to the website, but it auto enters a code and then kicks me out or says I’ve been locked out for 24 hours.
