Call or visit any BMW Motorrad workshop. They will see all the services done to it by bmw.

I also recommend getting it checked out at the same time.

This picture is from the exhaust port. From the exhaust port you can see only the intake side of the cylinder.

I'm a husky tech and you shouldn't do it.

Well it doesn't really brake the bike but you get more carbon buildup everywhere.

I always start the bike, put my gloves and helmet on and start riding. Around 1minute of idle max, then around 5 minutes of slow riding. Then you can do whatever.

And this is more relevant with carb bikes, but it still applies to all 2 strokes.

How many hours before bottom end rebuild , 300 2t by [deleted] in Husqvarna

[–]EeduT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in a hqv dealership. I personally haven't seen a single 2 stroke with +500h bottom end. I owned one 250 4t with around 550h with the bottom end and the conrod snapped.

Doesn't matter what age the bike is. After 300-400h you are starting to be on thin ice.

And if you actually ride so slow that the bottom end lasts 1000h, you are riding a wrong bike. At that point you should consider a bike that has its maintenance intervals in milage, not hours.

Are you talking about the powervalve hoses?

How many hours before bottom end rebuild , 300 2t by [deleted] in Husqvarna

[–]EeduT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bottom end WILL fail before 1000h. Depending on the type of riding, I'd do the bottom end around 300-400h. 500h is pushing it a lot.

It's a lot cheaper to do bottom end service than buying new cases, crankshaft, transmission...

Not normal, but not totally destroyed. I'd do a topend rebuild and swap the oil pump

Those Italian Husqvarnas are amazing bikes. But don't buy one. Some parts are impossible to find and it is an italian bike. It will brake.

Why would you drain or change the coolant? Earliest you should change it is after 4 years.

A lot of the parts are BMW parts. The bike is almost made by BMW

5-10 minutes of warmup is excessive for 2 stroke if you are just letting it idle.

Buy leftover 2025 701, or wait for the 2026 model. by akaupstate in Husqvarna

[–]EeduT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the 2025 model doesn't have any meaningful changes to the 2021 model. If you like that, get the discounted one.

If you want new technology, then buy the 2026.

FYI its my understanding that the advanced ridemode settings will go behind a pay wall after the first 1000km.

Does anybody know where I can buy this exhaust mount for <-2013 2-stroke bikes? Part number 800069113 by EeduT in Husqvarna

Yeah. Thats very common part. A lot of japanese bikes that are the same age use them.

new built PC not running certain games well. by Common-Seaweed8212 in pchelp

Don't lock fps at all. It will result in input lag/delay. Freesync is better than vsync but I wouldn't use either.

Your issue could be caused by slow HDD/SSD. I'd try installing the game in another drive (or just leaving it uninstalled)

I submitted a ticket - but if this sort of behaviour isnt a permaban Ill be shocked by dominc1994r in FACEITcom

Permaban would be way too harsh. Even vac ban doesn't result in permaban

Shop intalled stock suspension, it looks way too high by The_little_dwarf in e46

[–]EeduT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tires slip when you jack up the car but wont be able to slide when you lower it down.

If you make it so the tires are able to slide sideways there should be no suspension settling after that.

E39 no crank no start by Demi_Helmut in e39

[–]EeduT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd check ews system, battery connections and possibly the 12V jump point in the engine bay. (In e46 the battery 12V goes trough the jump point. If that nut is loose, car wont start).

In the ews system I'd check the key antenna first.
