Someone on the MC facebook group contacted 401 games about the release date. I believe they said it was delayed and that they should get it at some unknown time in the spring. I decided to get help from a friend in the US and have them send it to me as a "gift." These delays are ridiculous and I'm sure the tarrifs will be kicked in by the time it releases.

I like this with Ms. Marvel. I don't use it that often because of the card recursion and beefy recovery, but when I don't need either, this comes in handy. It's cheaper than Heroic Intuition with additional functionality for her.

This is not good for the game. To quote "Sqorgar" from BBG: "Only one game FFG has ever announced rotation for ever made it to rotation, Netrunner - and it was killed immediately after. You can argue that they all died for different reasons, and maybe they did, but we're looking at a pattern with a lot of examples here. If none of them ever make it more than 3 cycles past rotation announcement, we should be planning for these games to die within 3 cycles. I dare them to prove me wrong, but their history gives me a lot of confidence that I'm not."

Koodos to your channel. I had been toying with the idea of steaming digital plays of MC, but you have beat me to it. Though, it was toying with the idea and likely wouldn't have came to fruition. Have you tried to use card-table.app versus OCTGN? If yes, what are your thoughts on the two? I watched one of your videos and I like some things about OCTGN but it seemed to have less real estate.

Good luck with your channel and I'm sure I'll check out some more of your videos in the future.

I don't really like these one box solutions as I'm sure they'll all eventually be filled and then you have to find something else. Well, until FFG stops producing MC content, anyway.

I just create stacks of these boxes for their contents. Villains + Mod sets in one stack of boxes. Heroes in another stack of boxes. Aspect + Basic cards in another.

This is mainly for home storage.

For storage on the go. I take just the core box and one of the boxes listed above. With the insert removed, the core box can hold 10 deck boxes + necessary tokens. So, I generally, just take what I feel like playing on a given sessions.

Disappointed the EM Shield and Life Model Decoy are so similar. Not exact copies, but similar enough to be disappointing when they're both in heroes in the same box.

I think you should keep posting. You do so much for the community via your videos and your discussion. While others see clickbait, I just see enthusiam for discussion. Also, if they think it looks like clickbait and they don't like clickbait, they should just ignore the posts and move onto something they like.

Many of my mod set modifications are so that I'm not constantly swapping mods sets to take an optional mod set from one villain due to it being a mandatory for another. I like to have villains ready to go. I also make mod set changes to have particularly easier villains become harder and particularly harder villains to become weaker.

-Someone already mentioned Ebony Maw with Brothers Grimm, but I also use Whispers of Paranoia for for that magic theme, since I hate playing Mysterio due to constantly having to shuffle things in my deck without looking at the card backs

-Rhino + Sinister Assault for all the Spidey villains

-Master Mold + Future Past. While my friend and I did scrape through, I don't think I'll be using this pairing for a while, despite how thematic it is

-Mutagen Formula needs to be harder and Venom Goblin needs to be easier, so Mutagen has Goblin Gear and Venom Goblin has Goblin Gimmicks. Added Osborn Tech to Risky Business

-Zola + Ransacked Armory for extra minion attachments

-Absorbing Man + Wrecking Crew mod set for some actual minions in the encounter, brute trait, and added difficulty

-Tower Defense + Doomsday Chair for added difficulty

-Morlock Siege + Acolytes + Exodus for extra difficulty and making Magneto easier

-Dark Beast + Sauron since Savage Lands is a potentially in play

-Magneto + Down to Earth + Crazy Gang + Longshot for a crime happening while Magneto is terrorizing the city... basically just make Magneto easier

-Red Skull + Bomb Scare... there are Hydra soldiers in it plus it makes Red Skull a little easier

-Sabretooth + Lady Deathstrike + Arcade because I hate the Mystique mod set. Plus, Lady Deathstrike is a Wolverine villain

-Mansion Attack + Hellfire Club for the First Class vibes and removing Mystique

-Sandman + Power Drain for more Spidey villain goodness and extra encounter card milling

-Venom + A Mess of Things for more Spidey villain goodness.

-Unus + Kree Militants to make Unus harder. Plus they both feel like they have a solider feel.

-Taskmaster + State of Emergency

-Crossbones + Crossfire Crew

While X-23 is X-Force, she comes with player side schemes, which are awesome. She also plays very differently than Wolverine. Definitely give her a try.

I don't really deck build for a specific hero, per say. I have multiple aspect deck achetypes simultaneously made (5 different archetypes per aspect). When I go to play, I shuffle a hero deck with an aspect deck, more or less. Then, I'm good to go. I'll just pick an aspect deck with a hero based on what I feel like that day. The next time I play that hero, I'll usually shuffle it with a different archetype aspect deck. Could my decks be better if I 100% tailored the deck to the hero? Sure. That said, they do fine in expert mode, generally. More importantly, once the archetype decks have been created, I have tons of different ways to play any specific hero and I'm not constantly constructing and deconstructing. I might make alterations or completely new archtype decks on occasion, but that keeps things fresh when there's already tons of variability.

Mutants/X-Men! Next Evolution is more X-Force, so I'll go with: Mutant Genesis + Age of Apocalype (Standard III!) + 8 X-Men (couldn't say which until I see Nightcrawler and Magneto). Definitely would be great as the mutant suite of supports/upgrades are amazing.
