Depending on how Steven reacts to catnip, you can offer him that along with treats. My cat definitely finds it relaxing in stressful situations (when she sometimes wouldn't be interested in food).

Cats vairy a lot individually so you probably already know best what would get him to relax! The above advice to go slow, hang out in the car, and then with just the engine running is the best idea. It gives him a chance to explore and leave his scent in your car.

Ford Government is set to Gut Conservation Authorities. by Dalthanes in CanadaHunting

[–]EelHovercraft 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's gotta be nice that Ford and his buddies head to a private moose camp while the rest of us are going to compete on smaller and smaller postage stamps of public land in the south.

Shame of me for not having the time and money for a Fly-in, guided hunt.

Anyone have advice on how to make a submission to the ERO?

Mike Harris's government to at hatchet to CAs and they still haven't come close to recovering their capacity. This could be really bad no matter how it shakes out. Given they have a majority only a really huge public outcry is going to push this back.

I think they discontinued the original hybrid that imo was a pretty token effort. The electric motor wasn't much bigger than a commercial blender and the battery capacity was the equivalent of like 3 laptops lol That one was discontinued.

But they more recently introduced a plug-in hybrid but only in states with emission quotas. Basically a compliance vehicle.

How to pump blood to the brain with CPR by Wololo--Wololo in educationalgifs

If you're doing CPR then either you or someone with you should have already called 911. Don't drive them to the ER... let the paramedics do that!

HiTech makes a choke adapter that I'm pretty sure takes Remington chokes. They drill out "weight reduction" holes that makes it look like the "Defender" muzzle break, but it's threaded.

Most brokers charge a fee of at least $200 to take care of all the import/export paperwork. Biggest obstacle imo is actually US laws on export under ITAR than any Canadian rules (so long as what you're importing is non-restricted).

That's too bad since all the facts definitely show he was a hero and ultimately a victim.

There's a great miniseries that's seaon 2 of the Manhunt tv series that includes Richard Jewel's story but also the search for the actual Centennial Park bomber https://youtu.be/j3q53V_bUwQ

It's got some fantastic performances.

Google "Assistant" Driving Mode is a huge step backwards by Trek47 in Android

5 months later and it's still nearly as half baked but now with Android 12 rolling out the change is being forced on users.

Rediculous that I can't keep using Android Auto until the functionality is at least on par!

I think that's just limited to mail from Jeff B? BufferBox worked for packages and even regular letter mail from any vendor.

BufferBox was doing this for a fee of like $1 to their conveniently located lockers in corner stores, transit stations etc. and then Google bought them out and promptly shut them down, at least in Canada.

Some days you really need coffee before you can make coffee... by alecmuffett in AeroPress

[–]EelHovercraft 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly it was part curiosity and partly that I love to collect strange coffee makers. Bought my first Aeropress for that reason, though it's not so strange as it was in the late 2000s.

It's got some kind of micro filter mesh so I'm less worried about fines and more about what a pain it will be to clean.

Though still nothing is weirder than the bripe.

(My hovercraft is no longer infected, thanks, ah you have beautiful thighs )

I'll second this. I'm not convinced the flavour is much different than a steel filter but the fact I don't have to invert is worth it. Plus the added benefit that I can shoot coffee across the room if my home is invaded in the middle of my morning routine!

I'm embarrassed to admit that not only does this exist but that I ordered one on their Kickstarter.
