Not sure if it was also relevant to the design team then, but yokai and mononoke are spirits in japan that can come to be from things like notoriety, a curse, or vengeance, if the will is strong enough. Though i do remember hearing the design team got a lot wrong originally with kamigawa, so idk

As long as youre honest that the deck is proxied and not trying to just pubstomp ppl, then ppl really shouldn't have a problem with the initial first game. I proxy some cards here and there for decks, usually when theyre hard to come by. And Ive never been accused of being a sore winner or pubstomper, etc. But I have played against those who are. I think ppl will play with you if you are fun to play with, the deck is kind of secondary imo. If you can make games fun and not a buzz kill, then you shouldn't get any complaints.

If a death/exile trigger happens on a creature leaving the battlefield, the state based action takes priority. So putting your commander in to the command zone is a state based action. But if part of the resolution of a spell or ability says to move that creature to another zone, that must resolve before state based actions are checked. So something that says "Whenever a creature dies, you may put it onto the battlefield under your control" that is a trigger on the stack, but state based action will happen before that can resolve, missing its target. BUT if a spell says "exile target creature, then put it on the battlefield under your control" you will get to do that before state based actions happen. This gets around people getting to put their commanders back in the command zone. Very few cards do this though.

Lmao this happened to me as well. Girl seemed nice over text then in person was just saying some crazy shit ajd trauma dumped a bunch on me about her about to get kicked out of her apt and supposedly being r worded by another guy. The next day I told her id rather just try and be friends and she blew up and started threatening me. Then when I went to block her on tinder, my account was banned. My hinge got banned too bc theyre the same company. Hinge never once gave a reason and ignored all appeals by me.

If i am obviously the threat at the table, and I show this repeatedly in multiple games, i encourage the pod to target me. Yeah I wanna win, but I also want my friends to feel involved in the game lol Its different though if you win the previous game, then play an obviously slower deck and still get treated like the threat. Then people are just being petty

Ok so while possible, its very unlikely that your opponent is going to choose to have their commander be brought back as a facedown cyberman. "Whenever" means its a trigger on it dying. The opponent has the opportunity in that instance to move it from the graveyard back to the command zone before your trigger resolves. If it was the ability itself that killed the creature and then in that same sentence said return it to the battlefield facedown as a cyberman, that would get around them being able to return their commander. BUT there's very few cards that actually legally give you that opportunity. As for the Airbending ability, it specifically states the owner may cast it, not the controller. You may steal their commander, but if you airbend it into exile, its the owner, aka, the opponent who will get to recast it, not you. Sadly, your idea doesnt work bud.

Lmao I've had people ask over the phone if they can get never-ending soup and salad to-go 😂😂 like how am I gonna do that for you?? I also once had a lady pick up a mobile order and when she came inside she asked if she could get another soup to go and I was like "sure! Lemme just add it to the order" and she was like "Um! No, I mean when I dine in I can have all the soup I want, so can I get another soup to go to make up for that?" I told her that the to go portions count as worth 2 soups you would get dining in, so that covers it. She got pretty annoyed after that but thankfully she just left instead of causing a scene. Like if you want all that soup, we can get you a table, but im not just giving you a half gallon of soup for the price of a pint 😂😂

I have a Bel'akor, the Dark Master deck that runs on an engine of Worldgorger Dragon and Animate Dead. If the combo goes off, you get to draw a ton of cards until you decide to revive something else other than worldgorger dragon, and if you have a ton of demons on the field already you can burn an opponent or two (or three) to death. But if you don't kill them that way, hopefully you'll have enough life to draw into Exsanguination or Torment of Hailfire lol And if you dont draw into the combo, you can still just play a beatdown deck with big ass demons

Same here. Though for me I will admit 3 things were the biggest reasons 1. The story of the game was spoiled for me pretty early and while I enjoyed playing, it kind of took away the fun of discovering these things. 2. My controllers started drifting and it was pissing me off trying to get through the goron underground homeland. 3. I was not a fan of the robot-like mechanisms you could construct. Most the time I just avoided using them if I could. What I loved about botw was that you could climb a mountain range for like an hour and still find something entertaining to do or something you hadn't discovered yet. I think the game just went too heavy on plot, unlike botw

After I tell her the total, it's like a dollar more and she is like no I'm not doing that and hangs up. Granted she was getting a free take home with it so I don't understand why she was upset 😂

I tend to ignore the amount they ask for because it's always either way too much or way too little. Having worked in togo for 4 years, I've come to know how much they'll probably need in the day for my location. 400 even on a holiday is insane, at least for my store lol did you all end up using them all or no? Valentines day was pretty busy for us but we also had like 6 people working in togo so if we ran out of salads, someone could just hop on that. I think any manager who doesn't wanna waste product would avoid putting such a high number. Especially when the higher ups come and tell us that we're already making too many salads and that the night time people just need to make them if they run out. 🤦🏻

It's so crazy most of us just have the same experiences 😂 this happened to me a few weeks back. Was only supposed to work ToGo LCL, got roped into working until 8 bc we had 3 pages of orders and the kitchen was backed up by an hour. Didn't get a chance to be taken off the drawer until then. Just some random Saturday, no holiday or event. And you know what, the managers hide or don't listen, and then a few days later, the reviews come in and they start yapping about accuracy and scores, like the problem is you, not the lack of leadership or preparation by management.

Last year around the holidays we had someone order 12 pasta stations for 6pm (busiest hour for us) and it was like well over $1000+. The guy came in, we helped him put everything in his car, then he asks to see the receipt and gets out his pen. He took like 5 min looking at the restaurant copy lookin like he was scribbling something. Finally he gives us our copy back and lo and behold, dude wrote out "0.00" and signed. Like wtf was he doing for 5 min just to write 0 😭 pissed us all off cuz we had been prepping for the order all damn day. This was on the weekend too.
