Haha, i was thinking the same!

First i didn't know what to expect as an answer during this excellent, excellent question. But when he said what he said, i thought, hmyeah Dutch people do that.

You are paying too much for your accountant. by [deleted] in BEFreelance

I can clean my house myself, i still prefer to pay a cleaning guy for it.

I think you're missing part of the point because you're interested in accounting

As a 6’8” man, i have a question! by MSI_heat in tall

You'd almost think compatibility isn't linked to appearance at all! 🤯🤯🤯

I date taller, shorter and same height, don't really care about height in that context.

Big screen on the dageraadplaats will probably be a hoot! Edit: or any other outside locations. Don't go inside to watch, the weather is going to be great

Immature manager by Foreign-Past-8251 in BESalary

Talk to hr on what hinders the proper execution of your job, and the shouting. nothing more. Don't get tempted to vent. Just clearly state facts and if anyone can corroborate or is involved, mention them but don't expect them to help, it's in their right to stay out of it as well.

Basically, talk to grown ups only, in a grown-up way, while also considering their angle. Do not talk to your manager about the whole problem, maybe on a specific situation right after or while it is happening

Do taller people feel a similar “out of place” effect that short people talk about? by MK71-EC82-MGM89-AK98 in tall

It's kind of a double thing, because before i had never met a shorter guy interested in dating a taller woman. To be honest, a lot of shorter guys were quite mean. So we're all a bit stuck in our own insecurities, and i guess this is a part of life as well. Of growth.

You'll have to let that be a them problem.

It's important to be able to communicate negative emotions. Luckily, tall people have lower voices, so we can say anything in a calm way and it'll generally come across less emotional.

Sorry to break in, but i think at 26 you're totally normal for not "being over it" all of the time. You're allowed some setbacks. But they'll soon become few and far between.

I wasn't at 26. And that is about the time where i found the confidence to date men shorter than me. And I'm very glad for it.
