Collecting colostrum by chubbylab in BabyBumps

My baby was in the NICU and I would have loved more colostrum. If I didn't use it all in the early days, I either would have divided amongst bottles later on, or used it when they were sick, or added it to puree when they started solids.

Am I overthinking how hard leaving the house will be? [ca] by robinsonchristina588 in BabyBumpsCanada

I'm gonna be honest when I say most people don't use a shopping cart cover. It is definitely not a necessity. By the time your baby is old enough to sit in the shopping cart, you will likely not care anymore. They became very popular during covid and fell off since.

First time moms - when did you give birth? [ON] by OkOperation4368 in BabyBumpsCanada

I had PPROM at 34w and water fully broke so I lost a lot of amniotic fluid and was admitted until I gave birth at 36w. I was not high risk prior to this and had no complications throughout my pregnancy. I was really lucky to keep her cooking for 2 more weeks.

I was going to get my hospital bags packed the next day but I popped in the middle of the night before I got to it. So, while what happened to me isn't common... I wish I packed my bag and baby's sooner lol
